Effect of Spiritual Intelligence and Asta Brata Leadership to the Culture of Tri Hita Karana and Employment Performance

Human resources (HR) that talented employees are the foundation of an organization in a competitive advantage. A strong foundation for an organization to improve performance is the main one of which comes from the quality of Employment Performance. Basically Human Resources (HR) refers to people in the organization. Without effective people, it seems impossible for the organization to achieve its objectives. Human resources to make the resources with other organizations to run optimally. Quality employees working in an organization can be influenced by the cultures that are in the organization. Organizational culture is a reflection of the behavior of the employees from the application of values prevailing in the organization. Quality performance can likewise sourced from spiritual intelligence and leadership qualities of being a model of supervision that worked by employees. In this study, used the organizational culture Culture and Leadership Tri Hita Karana Astra Brata as variables tested to determine its effect on Employment Performance through Cultural Tri Hita Karana in Badung Regency Village Credit Institutions of Bali. Results showed that that the Spiritual Intelligence and Astra Brata Leadership have an influence on the culture of Tri Hita Karana, but the The Culture of Tri Hita Karana can not be mediating the effect of Spiritual Intelligence and Astra Brata Leadership. Astra Brata proven leadership directly affects the performance displayed by employees at Village Credit Institutions of Bali Badung regency. Total R 2 value of 88.4% indicates that the diversity of data that can be explained by the model is equal to 88.4%. While the remaining 11.6% is explained by other variables (which is not contained in the model) and error.

Strategy Formulation And Csr Implementation On Company Performance(Study At Industrial Area Makassar)

This study was based on condition of CSR activities reality that identical to generic CSR programs. Company carrying out CSR implementation because of high external pressures, not an company internal awareness to contribute to improve social environment and have no connection with main activities and corporate strategy. Consequently, this does not benefit to company performance and competitive advantage. Focus of this research is to develop a study to examine leadership behavior in formulating corporate strategy that oriented to corporate social responsibility (CSR). Efforts to improve corporate performance be done through implementation of integrated CSR strategy at industrial area of Makassar (PT KIMA). The analysis unit is company. Respondents that become samples are 81 people with leadership and chief general manager level, company-level functional manager. Analysis methods to test hypothesis is Structural Equation Model (SEM) with variance-based program of Partial least Square (PLS). The results of this study show that: antecedent variables, consisting of a transformational leadership style and ethical integrity significantly influence company strategy formulation with CSR orientation. Organizational learning culture did not significantly influence company strategy formulation with CSR orientation. Company strategy formulation with CSR orientation significantly influence implementation of CSR. Finally, CSR implementation significantly affect company performance.

Psychology's Factors of Stock Buying and Selling Behavior in Indonesia Stock Exchange (Phenomenology Study of Investor Behavior in Surabaya)

This study aims to explore the investment understanding and to construct implementation the investment meaning to investment behavior, as well as to construct the model design of investor decisionmaking behavior in stock buying and selling for short-term investor in Surabaya. This study used a qualitative interpretive paradigm, with phenomenology deontology method. Behavioral finance theory perspective was used as a tool to analyze the results. The results showed that: (1) Compared with fundamental analysis and technical analysis, well emotions management based on age, gender, education and personality of investor/trader was central in determining the success, (2) Compared with other short term investor type, such as a swing trader, position trader and historical investors, the day traders have greatest psychological burden in decision to buy or to sell shares, (3) Short-term investors can manage emotions rightly to obtain greater benefit from short-term investments than long-term investments, (4) experience was the best teacher for trader journey. Traders who able to learn from experience would be better than the traders who understand the stock market science but lack of experience, because the decisions based on a combination of rational and intuitive.

Effect of Competence Factor, Independence and Attitude against Professional Auditor Audit Quality Improve Performance in Inspectorate (Inspectorate Empirical Study in South Sulawesi Province)

The aims of this research are to know the positive and significant effect among competence, independence and professional attitude partially and simultaneously to inspectorate work achievement South Sulawesi. This inspectoratecontrol is based on regional government implementation and conducted structurally from regency/city level, province to centre level. The independent variables in this research are competence, independence and professional attitude for dependent variable is inspectorate work achievement the data in this research is primer data taken from questioner implementation directly to inspectorateapparatus of south Sulawesi. Analysis method that is used to examine hypothesis is double regression linear. This analysis is based on 50 respondents through questioner This research show simultaneous way are competence, independent and professional attitude influence significantly to inspectorate work achievement of shout Sulawesi and partial way competence variable (X1), independent (X2), professional attitude (X3), influence positive and significantly to inspectorate work achievement of shout Sulawesi. From this coefficientregression we can know are competence variable (X1), independent (X2) and professional attitude (X3), have influence positive and significantly to inspectorate work achievement of shout Sulawesi.

Revealing the Agency Cost, Management Behavior in the Practice of Tri Hita Karana Culture (A Study At LPD Of Pakraman Village In Denpasar Bali)

The research aims to dig and explain the practice of Tri Hita Karana (THK) cultural values implemented at LPD in relation to the agency costs. Ethnomethodology method is used in the research to understand principles and agents behavior with respect to THK cultural values. Research result shows that indexicality of THK cultural values such as parahyangan, pawongan and palemahan form reflexivity of agency cost items. The reflexivity of agency cost of parahyangan raises cost of pura development, ceremonial and donation for ceremonies. The reflexivity of agency cost of pawongan raises cost of education, health, ngaben- nyekah and funeral charity. The reflexivity of agency cost of palemahan raises cost of market, village hall, and sport facilities development, and beach arrangement. THK values and agency cost are important aspects to be considered in company management in order to maintain a balance relationship between God, Human and Environment to create harmonization in an organization.

Management of Credit Activities and their Effects on Commercial Banks’ Credit Risk in Indonesia

The financial institution in any nation has a potential role in the economy but it can also create the risks taken by the borrowers. This study seek to test the effect of policy and credit risk management strategies, quality of human resources, information technology intensity, and moral hazard of lending staff on the credit risk management process. This is positivist approach with qualitative information to support quantitative analysis using 83 respondents of commercial banks (excluding foreign banks), collected by means of questionnaires related to respondents’ perceptions with Likert scale. The analysis was done by using Generalized Structured Component Analysis (GSCA). Results showed that credit risk management olicies can improve credit risk management strategy formulation; credit risk management strategies improves credit risk management process quality; the intensity of high IT improves credit risk management process quality; the human resource quality can less improve credit risk management process quality; moral hazard less improves credit risk management process quality; and, the high quality of credit risk management processes can reduce credit risk. It can be concluded that credit risk management process has a significant effect on credit risk. The credit risk management policy and strategy, information technology, and moral hazard are needed to support such process. Diversification, Investment Opportunity Set, Envinronmental Dynamics and Firm Value (Empirical Study of Manufacturing Sectors in Indonesia Stock Exchange)

The purpose of this research are: 1) to describe and analyzing the diversification effect on firm value, 2) to describe and analyzing the role of Investment Opportunity Set (IOS) diversification effect mediation on firm value, and 3) to describe and analyzing the role of environment dynamics as a IOS moderating effect on company value. The research was conducted on the manufacturing sectors in Indonesia Stock Exhange. Observation period are 2006-2010. Based on defined population criteria the sampling method is saturated sample or census. The samples analyzed were 18 companies. Analysis data method is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) variance-based namely SmartPLS. The result shows that: 1) The diversification effect on firm value is significant and positive, 2) IOS mediation variable significantly and positively affect firm value, and 3) IOS*environmental dynamics interaction variable does not affect significantly on firm value.
