We examine the dynamical evolution of wave packets in a cubical billiard where three quantum numbers (nx, ny, nz) determine its energy spectrum and consequently its dynamical behaviour. We have constructed the wave packet in the cubical billiard and have observed its time evolution for various closed orbits. The closed orbits are possible for certain specific values of quantum numbers (nx, ny, nz) and initial momenta (kx, ky, kz). We observe that a cubical billiard exhibits degenerate energy levels and the path lengths of the closed orbits for these degenerate energy levels are identical. In spite of the identical path lengths, the shapes of the closed orbits for degenerate levels are different and depend upon angles 𝜃 and ϕ which we term as the sweep and the elevation angles, respectively. These degenerate levels owe their origin to the symmetries prevailing in the cubical billiard and these levels disappear completely or partially for a parallelepiped billiard as the symmetry breaks due to commensurate or incommensurate ratio of sides.

Results of numerical simulations for the resonant energy exchange phenomenon called Migration reaction between two cold Rydberg atoms are presented. The effect of spatial interatomic distance on the onset of peculiar coherent mechanism is investigated. Observation of Rabi-like population inversion oscillation at the resonance provides a clear signature of dipole induced exchange of electronic excitations between the atoms. Further we present the results for the dependence of expectation value of the interaction hamiltonian on the interatomic distance, which is responsible for energy exchange process. The results of this observation endorse the range of inter atomic distance within which the excitation exchange process occurs completely or partially. Migration process enhance the Rydberg-Rydberg interaction in the absence of an external field, under the condition of the zero permanent dipole moments. Our next observation sheds light on the fundamental mechanism of induced electric fields initiated by the oscillating dipoles in such energy exchange processes. We explore the dependence of induced electric field on the interatomic distance and angle between the dipoles highlighting the inverse power law dependence and anisotropic property of the field. We put forward an idea to utilise the coherent energy exchange process to build efficient and fast energy transfer channels by incorporating more atoms organised at successive distances with decreasing distance gradient. Results of numerical simulations for the resonant energy exchange phenomenon called Migration reaction between two cold Rydberg atoms are presented. Present paper deal with the analytical treatment for the forward link (base station to mobile station) erlarg capacity of the 3rd Generation CDMA based system known as WCDMA along with the different services of data rate in multipath fading channel. The erlarg capacity of the system is calculated in term of required power at the base station supports number of user in a active cell. Forward link capacity depends on the DL transmit (Tx) power at the base station in a active cell. By introducing variable orthogonality factor, transmitter antenna gain and voice activity, we analyzed the required base station power when the number of users in a active cell work simultaneously in a multirate scenario at downlink FDD mode of WCDMA. The result in this paper can be applied to overall system design of WCDMA system with voice, data and multimedia services in the future mobile communications systems.

The binding energy of the double hypernucleusΛΛ6 is calculated in α + 2Λ cluster model using the method of translation invariant basis TIMO. As regards the required interaction potentials we use a density dependent effective ΛN force and a gaussian form for ΛΛ potential. With these interactions a very reasonable value ofBΛΛ is obtained if the oscillator states up to the excitation quantum numberN=12 are taken into account in the expansion of wavefunction of the hypernucleus. This value ofN is much smaller than that obtained in an earlier study. This lowering inN value is attributed to a much better choice of ΛN potential used in the present study.

A few model Λ-nucleus potentials are proposed which explain the ground state binding energy data of5He and thep-shell hypernuclei satisfactorily. Potential-II is capable of distinguishing the hypernuclei of the same mass number but of differentN andZ values. The dependence of this potential on (N − Z) term indicates that there is a charge symmetry breaking component in ΛN force. Alongwith the earlier density dependent effective Λ-nucleus interaction, these potentials may be used to determine approximately the density distributions of light nuclei. From these potentials an estimate ofDΛ is also made. It is found to be in conformity with the earlier estimates.
