PBL (Project Based Learning) in the field of medical education has been introduced earlier. These learning methods are to be effective to improve problem-solving ability. Recently, this method has been applied in many other field of medical education. For example, other fields are the economics, the literature, the engineering, and the science in university. This learning method is highly dependent on the expertise and experience by the professor. Therefore, The content and methods of PBL has broadened. As a result, the difference is generated in the content and the extent that the student learns by this learning method. This research develops the support system for PBL. PBL Supporting System Based on the Range of Teacher's Guidance

Makio Fukuda; Michinori Yamashita; Toshiyuki Ueyama; Minae Nishimoto

PBL (project-based learning) have proven to be effective in improving problem-solving abilities. This learning method is highly dependent on the expertise and experience of the professor, resulting in a broadening of the content and methods of PBL. This broadening has generated a difference in what a PBL student learns and how well they learn it. This research develops a support system for PBL and aims to solve some of the problems of PBL.
