The small genus Epipsylla is diagnosed (adults and immatures), a checklist is given for its constituent species and the phylogenetic relationships of the genus are briefly discussed. E. millettiae sp. nov., associated with Millettia pachyloba from South China is described, diagnosed and illustrated. It differs from other described Epipsylla species in the very narrow paramere. E. hainanana Yang & Li is redescribed, and additional details are provided of the male and female terminalia. Following new synonymies are proposed: Epipsylla guangxiana Yang & Li, 1983, = E. whitfordiodendritis Yang & Li, 1983, syn. nov. and Epipsylla mucunae Yang & Li, 1984, = E. ruiliana Yang & Li, 1984, syn. nov., E. yunnanica Yang & Li, 1984, syn. nov.

Two new species of Lohmanniidae, Papillacarus (Papillacarus) retinervius sp. nov. from soil in Hainan Province, South China and Papillacarus (Papillacarus) mammilatus sp. nov. from moss and soil in Guizhou Province, Southwest China are described and illustrated. Papillacarus (P.) retinervius sp. nov. is most similar to Papillacarus (P.) polygonatus (Ermilov Anichkin, 2011), however, it can be distinguished from the latter by the following characterstics: 20-21 pairs of additional neotrichal setae, setae d2, e2, h1, p1 shorter, as long as d1, epimeral setal formula 10-8-4-3. Papillacarus (P.) mammilatus sp. nov. is most similar to Papillacarus (P.) angulatus (Wallwork, 1962), however, it can be distinguished from the latter by the following characterstics: transverse bands S3 complete, eight pairs of subcapitular setae, epimeral setal formula 10-6-3-4.

Abstract Two new species of Lohmanniidae, Papillacarus (Papillacarus) internus sp. nov. from soil in Hainan Province, South China and Papillacarus (Vepracarus) hexagonus sp. nov. from rotten tree and soil in Chongqing City, Southwest China are described and illustrated. Papillacarus (P.) internus sp. nov. is most similar to Papillacarus (P.) lienhardi (Mahunka, 1997), however, it can be distinguished from the latter by the following characters: 29–30 pairs of additional neotrichal setae, seta c1 shorter than c2, all genital setae setiform and smooth. Papillacarus (V.) hexagonus sp. nov. is most similar to Papillacarus (V.) gueyeae (Pérez-Íñigo, 1989), however, it can be distinguished from the latter by the following characters: 38 pairs of additional neotrichal setae, 7 pairs of subcapitula setae, epimeral formula 9-4-3-4.

Three new species of the genus Anatkina Young, 1986 from China are described and illustrated: A. leishanensis sp. nov., A. alata sp. nov. and A. zhangi sp. nov. The type specimens of the new species are deposited in the Institute of Entomology, Guizhou University, Guiyang, China. In this paper, A. reticulosa Kuoh, 1993 and A. basimacula Kuoh, 1993 are placed as junior synonyms of A. infecta (Distant, 1908) and A. vespertinula (Breddin, 1903), respectively; A. inflammata (Distant, 1908) is recorded as new for China. A key and checklist of all Chinese species of the genus are provided.

The leafhopper genus Atkinsoniella was originally established by Distant (1908) for two species with A. decisa as type species. So far, 75 valid species are known worldwide and of these, 63 are from China (Yang et al. 2011). Because Atkinsoniella is a very large and morphologically heterogeneous genus it is desirable to recognize smaller groups of species with distinctive characteristics.

Oxyceroides gen. nov., including three new species, O. gracilis sp. nov., O. sinica sp. nov. and O. tangi sp. nov. from South China in the Oriental region are described and illustrated. Related genera from other biogeographical realms are briefly discussed. Identification keys to the known Oriental Oxycerini and to the three new species of Oxyceroides are given.

Flatseta gen. n. described and illustrated based on type species F. scimitara sp. n. from China and placed in the typhlocybine tribe Dikraneurini. The new genus is unique among known Typhlocybinae in having modified setae distributed over the male pygofer appendage. Detailed morphological descriptions and illustration of the new genus are provided.

A review of the genus Cofana Melichar from China is presented. Ten species are recorded, of which two species are new: C. cheni sp. nov. and C. nii sp. nov. The type specimens of the new species are deposited in the Institute of Entomology, Guizhou University, Guiyang, China (GUGC). In this paper, C. bidentata Krishnankutty & Viraktamath, 2008 is placed as junior synonym of C. yasumatsui Young, 1979. A key of all Chinese species of the genus is provided.
