Estimation of Static and Dynamic Properties in a Bayesian Framework

This paper presents a study regarding the estimation of static and dynamic properties in a Bayesian framework. It was used the methodology proposed by Bachrach (2006) that in this work was adapted to two occasions. In the first one the methodology was applied to estimate NTG and pressure from 3D seismic, instead of porosity and saturation as it was originally proposed. In the second application an extension to a 4D study that aims to estimate pressure and saturation variations from time lapse seismic was tested. In order to verify the validity of the methodology in these new scenarios a synthetic dataset, based in a real reservoir from Campos basin, was used. The results are presented for three cases, in the first one an ideal dataset was considered where no noise/error was considered; in the second case it was assumed a wrong petro-elastic modeling and in the third case a random noise was added to the seismic in order to mimic acquired data.
