Uniqueness theorem of static degenerate and nondegenerate charged black holes in higher dimensions

Marek Rogatko

We prove the uniqueness theorem for static higher dimensional charged black holes spacetime containing an asymptotically flat spacelike hypersurface with compact interior and with both degenerate and non-degenerate components of the event horizon.

Dynamical collapse of charged scalar field in phantom gravity

Anna Nakonieczna; Marek Rogatko; Rafal Moderski

We investigated the problem of the dynamical collapse of a self-gravitating complex charged scalar field in Einstein-Maxwell-dilaton theory with a phantom copuling for the adequate fields in the system under consideration. We also considered two simplifications of it, i.e., the separate collapses of phantom Maxwell and phantom scalar fields under the influence of Einstein gravity. One starts with the regular spacetime and leads the evolution through the formation of the horizons and the final singularity. We discuss the structures of spacetimes emerging in the process of the dynamical collapse and comment on the role of the considered fields in its course.

Uniqueness theorem for static black hole solutions of σ-models in higher dimensions

Marek Rogatko

We prove the uniqueness theorem for self-gravitating nonlinear σ-models in higher-dimensional spacetime. Applying the positive mass theorem, we show that the Schwarzschild–Tagherlini spacetime is the only maximally extended, static asymptotically flat solution with non-rotating regular event horizon with a constant mapping.

Classification of static charged black holes in higher dimensions

Marek Rogatko

The uniqueness theorem for a static charged higher dimensional black hole containing an asymptotically flat spacelike hypersurface with compact interior and with both degenerate and nondegenerate components of event horizon is proposed. By studies of the near-horizon geometry of degenerate horizons, one was able to eliminate the previous restriction concerning the inequality fulfilled by the charges of the adequate components of the aforementioned horizons.

Analytic study on backreacting holographic superconductors with dark matter sector

Łukasz Nakonieczny; Marek Rogatko

The variational method for Sturm-Liouville eigenvalue problem was employed to study analytically properties of the holographic superconductor with dark matter sector, in which a coupling between Maxwell field and another U(1)-gauge field was considered. The backreaction of the dark matter sector on gravitational background in question was also examined.

Decay of Dirac massive hair in the background of a spherical black hole

Rafal Moderski; Marek Rogatko

The intermediate and late-time behavior of massive Dirac hair in the static spherically general black hole spacetime is studied. It is revealed that the intermediate asymptotic pattern of decay of massive Dirac spinor hair is dependent on the mass of the field under consideration as well as the multiple number of the wave mode. The long-lived oscillatory tail observed at timelike infinity in the considered background decays slowly as t{sup -5/6}.

Analytic investigation of holographic phase transitions influenced by dark matter sector

Łukasz Nakonieczny; Marek Rogatko; Karol I. Wysokinski

We analytically study the phase transitions between s-wave holographic insulator/superconductor and metal/superconductor. The problem is solved by the variational method for the Sturm-Liouville eigenvalue problem in the theory with dark matter sector of U(1)-gauge field coupled to the Maxwell field. Additionally in the probe limit we investigate the marginally stable modes of scalar perturbations in the AdS solitonic background, connected with magnetic field in the dark matter sector. We have found that even with dark matter sector the superconducting transition temperature
