Uma leitura sobre o sentido do desenvolvimento sob a ótica da análise de discurso

This article seeks to analise the discourse of the printed media in what concerns the development of the Agreste of the Pernambuco region. The analysis is made from the editorial of the biggest newspaper of the state, thus, an opinion maker. The discourse cited concerns itself in highlighting the economic aspects of development and of employment generation and it is not very concerned in discussing sustainable development.Esse texto tem o objetivo de analisar o discurso da midia impressa a respeito do desenvolvimento pelo qual passa a regiao Agreste de Pernambuco. O corpus de analise e feita a partir do editorial do maior jornal em circulacao no estado, portanto, um formador de opiniao. O discurso em questao se mostra preocupado em ressaltar os aspectos economicos do desenvolvimento e da geracao de empregos e deixa a margem o debate sobre desenvolvimento sustentavel da regiao.
