CONSOLIDAÇÃO DAS METODOLOGIAS ATIVAS EM EDUCAÇÃO FÍSICA NAS ESCOLAS DE ENSINO MÉDIO

Spain’s educational system joined an educational reform movement based on competencies, which promotes teaching styles that encourage student’s autonomy, interaction and active participation in teaching and learning processes. This study looks into the reality of these active teaching styles and intends to know the methodology applied in Physical Education in depth. Participants were a group of secondary school teachers from the Community of Madrid. Qualitative methodology was employed, as well as content analysis, focus group, observation and interviews, while triangulating data using Atlas.ti. The findings suggest that while teachers acknowledge the benefits of active teaching that provides students with autonomy, traditional, reproductive and directing teaching styles prevail in their professional practices.

Diseño y valoración de una investigación evaluativa. La enseñanza por competencias en Educación Física

The aim of this paper is to present the development of an evaluative research, used to assess the implementation of competency model, and the valuation that make these process participants: a group of teachers of Physical Education of the Comunidad Autonoma de Madrid in Secondary Education. This research was developed from the methodological complementarity, qualitative and quantitative, applying various techniques and instruments in four stages: preliminary, development, continuity and valuation. Results of the meta-evaluation of participants, developed in the assessment phase, are discussed. The results show how this research method was assessed positively and led to changes in performance and training of teachers to teach competency. The presentation of this project aims to promote the applicability thereof to scan the object of study in similar contexts or exploring new research problems.

La formación inicial y permanente del profesorado de Educación Física para la aplicación del modelo competencial: un estudio cualitativo

This study seeks to understand how a group of Physical Education teachers acquired their training to teach competence, and the valuation of its modes of acquisition. The sample was constituted of six secondary school teachers, men and women, from beginners to expert, who exercised teaching in high schools in the north, south, east and center of the Community of Madrid. Techniques as semistructured interviews and focus group were triangulated. The information collected was analyzed following proper procedures inductive model of “Grounded Theory”. The results indicate that the initial training is postulated as the type of training that most favors the application of teaching competencies, especially among beginners teachers. Also, experts participants consider their initial training is an advantage to develop the model. However, participants report making few training activities on the competency model in Physical Education and not appear to be directed toward principles. These results suggest the possibility of developing the training (initial or continuing) teacher on the competency model as a means for applying a model that promotes social inclusion, employability and active citizenship of students.

Perfil do bacharel em educação física na direção e organização de atividade física e desporto em Espanha

Este estudo descreve o perfil demografico, emprego e formacao do bacharel em educacao fisica na gestao do desporto em Valencia (Espanha). A metodologia utilizada consistiu em um estudo transversal aplicado a uma amostra de 600 entrevistas individuais. O estudo obtido do perfil na direcao e organizacao de atividade fisica e desporto foi homens, jovens, contratos permanentes e horas de trabalho mais de 40 horas. Tambem, principalmente gestao recursos humans e nao trabalham geralmente em areas especificas. Alem disso, as instituicoes onde trabalham sao diversas, mas na maior parte do publico. Tambem digno de nota e que apenas 20% das pessoas que trabalham sao bacharel em educacao fisica, para que haja necessidade de aprovacao da regulamentacao da Profissao de Educacao Fisica na Espanha, para garantir a qualidade dos servicos de educacao fisica e desporto.In this research the profile is described demographic, labour and formative of the graduates in Physical Activity and of the Sport that are employed at the management of physical activity and deport in the Comunidad Valenciana ( Spain ). The used methodology has consisted of a sectional survey applied to a sample of 600 licentiates by means of individual interviews. In the study there is obtained that in this labour function there are majority the men, the young men, the indefinite contracting and the labour major days of 40 hours. Likewise, principally they direct the labor of other persons of physical activity and sport and are not in the habit of being employed at specific areas. Besides, the entities for those who work are diverse, but for the most part public. Key Words: Sport, Management, Graduate, Human resources.
