CARACTERÍSTICAS DO MAMÃO FORMOSA COMERCIALIZADO EM PORTO ALEGRE DE OUTUBRO/91 A JUNHO/92

This research aimed to evaluate the mains physical and chemical characteristics of papaya Formosa commercialized in Porto Alegre-RS from October, 1991 to June, 1992. The papayas analized showed great fruit variability of types and skin colors but the orange pulp was predominam. The highest fruifs weight was observed in October, December and April. The placenta plus seeds weight was greater in January. The percentage of pulp plus skin was greater in October, March and May. The highest fruits diameter and firmness were obtained in December and November, respectively. The highest total soluble solids was observed in fruits sampled in March, April, May and June. the lowest acidity was obtained in April and the highest pH was observed in October. Fruits lenght and pulps thickness of papaya were similar during the studied period.

Características físicas dos frutos de quatro cultivares e duas seleções de goiabeira no 5º ano de produção em Porto Lucena - RS

This research was carried out in Porto Lucena, RS, Brazil, at 1992 harvest, aimed to evaluate some physical characteristics of fruits of four guava (Psidium guajava L.) cultivars (IAC-4, Brune Vermelha, Riverside Vermelha and Pirassununga Vermelha) and two selections (RBS-1 and RBS-2). RBS-1 and RBS-2 selections showed the highest fruit average weight and the RBS-2 selection showed the highest longitudinal diameter (LD), transversal diameter (TD), LD/LT relation and flesh weight (FW). Riverside Vermelha cultivar presented the highest endocarp thickness (ET) and endocarp weight (EW). IAC-4 cultivar and RBS-1 selection had the best FW/EW relation. On the other hand, firmness, flesh thickness (FT) and FT/ET relation did not show differences among cultivars and selections.

OFERTA DE ABACAXI NAS CEASAS DO RIO GRANDE DO SUL, SANTA CATARINA E PARANÁ

SUMMARY This work deals with monthly and annual behaviour of amount and price of pineappie commercialized at CEASAS of Rio Grande do Sul and Parana, Brazil, from 1981 to 1990 and at CEASA of Santa Catarina, Brazil, from 1987 to 1990. The quantity commercialized increased 49,1% at CEASA/RS and 31,3% at CEASA/PR between 1981 and 1990 years and 19,4% at CEASA/SC between 1987 and 1990 years. The highest prices at CEASA/RS occured in 1986 and 1990, at CEASA/SC in 1987,1989 and 1990 and at CEASA/PR in 1986, 1989 and 1990. The highest monthly quantity commercialized occured in november, december and january at CEASA/RS, in november, december, january and february at CEA-SA/SC and in january and december at CEASA/PR. At CEASA/RS, the highest monthly prices occured in march, april and may, while at CEASAS of SC and PR. There were no differences among the months.

QUANTIDADE E PREÇO DO MARACUJÁ COMERCIALIZADO NAS CEASAS DO RIO GRANDE DO SUL, SANTA CATARINA E PARANÁ

SUMMARY This work deals with monthly and annual behaviour of amount and price of passion fruit commercialized at CEASAS of Rio Grande do Sul and Parana, Brazil, from 1981 to 1990 and at CEASA of Santa Catarina, Brazil, from 1987 to 1990. The passion fruit quantity commercialized yearly increased 943.9% at CEASA/RS, 1,969.2% at CEASA/SC and 1,057.8% at CEASA/PR. The prices were not different among years at CEASA/RS and CEASA/SC, but at CEASA/PR in 1986 occured the highest price. The highest passion fruit quantity offered occured from March to August at CEASA/RS, from Novemberto February at CEASA/SC and from January to June at CEASA/PR. The highest monthly prices were payed from april to june at CEA-SA/RS, from september to january at CEASA/PR and were no differences between the months at CEA-SA/SC.
