Abstract We discuss the problem of constructing a model in which supersymmetry is unbroken down to low energies. It is suggested that the scalar partners of quarks and leptons may get their masses through radiative corrections and that the breaking of the weak interactions also occurs through radiative corrections. A toy model is constructed which illustrates these ideas.

Abstract The chiral lagrangian for baryon number violating nucleon decay is derived and applied to nucleon decays into strange and non-strange final states. The uncertainties in our predictions are discussed.

Abstract Seeking a theory which unifies strong and electroweak interactions, we propose an SU(7) model which provides an explanation to the flavor question while avoiding the introduction of a t quark. This model is found to be consistent with low energy phenomenology, including the reported decays B → J/Ψ Kπ, and to contain intermediate mass scales such that new physical processes may occur at levels subject to experimental verification.

Abstract We examine the neutral current structure of a class of topless gauge theories in which b decay and CP violation are mediated by neutral gauge bosons, N. We find a good fit to all data(better than the fit to the standard model) for sin 2 θ = 0.205 and M N 2 /M W 2 ~ 10.

Abstract We consider the problem of cosmological domain walls in the context of an SU(5) × SU(5) unified model. This model automatically solves the strong CP problem with an invisible axion, but avoids the domain wall problem found by Sikivie for models of this type.

It is demonstrated that the proper-time integration approach to background-field problems may be usefully applied to the evaluation of radiative corrections to the strong CP-violating parameter q-bar. Analysis of the one- and two-loop contributions reveals a class of models consistent with the phenomenological constraint q-bar<10/sup -8/. Estimated contributions in the range q-barapprox.10/sup -11/ to 10/sup -30/ are obtained for various models.
