The Stress Analysis in Dangerous Section of Gear Teeth

Silvia Medvecká-Beňová; Martin Mantič; Robert Grega

The calculation of the stress in the tooth is based on a number of assumptions. Here is calculated so-called comparative stress. This is useful if they are used in calculating the results and findings from research and practice in the determination of any effects that affect the actual teeth stress. The complicated shape of the teeth is the theoretical determination of stress in the teeth difficult. The starting assumption is highly idealized notion of a linear displacement of the tooth for and tooth load is considered as a beam loaded by bending. The paper deals with the problems of stress examining in a dangerous section of the foot tooth with asymmetrical profile. The stress of tooth is solution by finite element method.

Effect of Operational Condition Changes on the Durability of the Rope for Pusher of Circular Wagon Tipper

Jozef Kuľka; Martin Mantič

Article discusses the pusher wagons in transhipment complex. In terms of the reliability of this device appears to be the weakest link in the transhipment of bulk substrates operated rotary tilter because of its design causes increased wear of the rope. The mode of handling the rope through the properties is an ideal solution for transport of the wagons, which led to finding ways to extend its life. This contribution is proposing a design method for a possible modifications of the pusher with an expected minimum costs and there are calculated the load characteristics of the rope before and after adjustment of the device.

Heuristic Optimization Approach to Selecting a Transport Connection in City Public Transport

Jozef Kul’ka; Martin Mantič; Melichar Kopas; Eva Faltinová; Daniel Kachman

Abstract The article presents a heuristic optimization approach to select a suitable transport connection in the framework of a city public transport. This methodology was applied on a part of the public transport in Košice, because it is the second largest city in the Slovak Republic and its network of the public transport creates a complex transport system, which consists of three different transport modes, namely from the bus transport, tram transport and trolley-bus transport. This solution focused on examining the individual transport services and their interconnection in relevant interchange points.

LOCKING THE MOVEMENT OF PERSONS ON THE BRIDGE CRANE

Jozef Kuľka; Martin Mantič; Melichar Kopas; Eva Faltinová

This article describes the design of a horizontal rope system for increasing the safety of work and movement on a specific device operating in height. This system is designed to be installed on a conventional existing crane footbridge or crane track structure and this system enables a free pass along the rope, without unclamp of spring hook on prolongation rope. The calculation was made by non-linear dynamic FEM analysis.
