ANATOMY OF A SITE VISIT

A site visit is an important element in obtaining a grant. As more and more nurse educators become involved in generating funds for research, particularly from the federal government, an understanding of the purposes of such a visit as well as some strategies for enhancing it, can be critical to the outcome. In this article, strategies for preparing for and conducting a site visit will be outlined.
