A 27-year-old man of chronic mucocutaneous candidiasis with verrucous nodule and crusted granulomatous skin lesions which were seen on the scalp, ears and lips, was reported. Ten cases of Candida granuloma (Hauser-Rothman) which have been reported in the Japanese literature, were summarized. Differences among the present case, Candida granuloma (Hauser-Rothman) and localized hyperkeratotic type of cutaneous candidiasis were described. The present case was successfully treated with Clotrimazole (BAY b 5097). The possibility that splenectomy played a role in the pathogenesis of the present case was stated. The marked clubbing of the finger- and toe-nails in this case was considered to be the complicated familial clubbed fingers.
