A Case with Recurrent Idiopathic Hematoma in the Isolated Suprapatellar Pouch of Knee

A 24 years old female with recurrent idiopathic hematoma in the isolated suprapatellar pouch of the knee was treated in our clinic. Her chief complaint was extensive swelling at the region just proximal to the patella during the last 3.5 months, and recently she felt pain about the knee after long time of upright sitting. She had no evident history of trauma.The hematomacyst, which was isolated from the knee joint cavity by a thin membrane and covered by a capsule of 2mm thickness, was resected. It was diagnosed as bursitis histologically. There was no recurrence at 5 months after operation.

Surgical Repair of Tear of The Rotator Cuff

We consider shoulder arthrography in all patients with chronic shoulder pain when the source of the pain is in doubt.We offer surgical treatment to any patient who was diagnosed as tear of the rotator cuff by arthrography.The purpose of this paper is to report the results of surgical repairs of tears of the rotator cuff. The results were rated with respect to pain, motion and strength.

Treatment of Modified Bristow Operation

During the year 1974 and 1981, thirteen shoulders of the anterior recurrent dislocation of the shoulder were treated by modified Bristow operation.These cases consisted of two females and ten males. The age of the patients ranged from 18 to 30 and average age was 23 years.Twelve cases got results. On the other hand, one case got a poor result, with pain and severe disturbance of range of motion.
