The objective of this review is to discuss aspects of the practice of endurance racing and alternatives to reduce oxidative stress in horses. Characterized by a high aerobic effort and requirement of the organic systems for maintenance of homeostasis, the endurance race is a form of sport for horses that demands great attention to the physical preparation of these animals and must be progressive, paying attention to the physiological parameters to evaluate the adaptation of the organism. To begin the preparation, the animals must be at least five years old and the duration can be on average of three years. Another factor that may be detrimental to the health and well-being of competing horses is the occurrence of oxidative stress, due to the accumulation of free radicals in the tissues, generating post-exercise muscle injuries. Antioxidant supplementation has been an alternative to this disorder. Several studies using compounds rich in antioxidant enzymes, such as superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT) and glutathione peroxidase (GPx), demonstrate positive effects on antioxidant status, markers of oxidative stress and muscle enzymes, which may represent an improvement in performance during the exercise and recovery of animals destined to the practice of equestrian sports. Therefore, a correct physical preparation becomes crucial and antioxidant supplementation may be used to maintain the health and well-being of horses destined to the equestrian endurance practice.

The Rodeo was recognized as a competitive sport during the first decades of the twentieth century, the aim of this work is to show the relationship of the pedestrian who is an athlete and his relationship with the rodeo bulls. The pawn should remain on the animal for eight seconds by holding only one hand on a rope (bull riding) or saddle (riding on horses) according to the riding mode. The other hand must be placed upwards and if it is touched on the animal or on the fence the athlete is disqualified, soon after riding the bull stops jumping. However, most of the studies related to competitive rodeo prioritize the psychological aspects and the injuries that occurred in this sport, not characterizing the profile of physical fitness. This sport is known for the muscular strength, agility, balance and courage with which competitors face trained animals. of its participants, the great difference of strength and weight between athletes and animals.

The main factors that affect the physical-chemical and microbiological characteristics of fresh milk are related to zootechnical care and the adequate production and storage of the product in rural properties. It article approach the main aspects that interfere in milk composition, especially those associated to the feeding of lactating females. The criteria of hygiene and management of the animals during the milking are focused, in the light of the relation that they present, with the prevention of mastites and the quality of the milk. The importance of the cooling of the freshly milked product is emphasized, as well as the need to modernize the current milk transportation system, from the producer to the processing plants, as fundamental instruments to guarantee the quality of the milk of consumption and the products dairy products.

The zoos are aimed at species conservation, professional development and improvement, scientific research, environmental education and leisure. However, the population searches for zoos mainly for recreation and recreation, and most visitors are families with children who want to enjoy wildlife in company, being less important education, escape and introspection, the officialization of zoos requires the fulfillment of requirements regulated by the legislation of each country, the acquisition of these animals must also obey the strict norms of importation or collection in natural habitat, and the indigenous fauna cannot be sold or exchanged with other establishments unless permission is given and endorsed by the competent organs, conditioned to surplus animals and Having been born in captivity, within the priorities and moral obligations of zoos lies the demand to provide conditions for the animals to exhibit natural behaviors and automatically optimize animal welfare conditions.
