This paper examines the quality of produced power from Self-Excited Asynchronous Generator (SEASG), under load variation and symmetrical short circuit and improving the generator loading under the conditions listed, using of two important FACTS (Flexible AC Transmission Systems) devices namely STATCOM and SVC described, And it is shown that employing any of these equipments have a significant effect on improving quality of produced power from the generator, and they can also be effective in improving the generator loading.

Asynchronous generators has restrictions and problems such as frequency and reactive power control, and it has problem in output voltage control under dynamic Load fluctuations due to lack of separate field circuit. In this article, in order to control and voltage profile improvement Grid Connected Asynchronous Generator (GCASG), the use of parallel static compensators SVC (Static Var Compensator) & STATCOM (STATic synchronous COMpensator) is evaluated and compared.

Switching operations in power plants and power substations is done due to different factors, like synchrotron or cutting of generators. This operation results into the formation of various volume of high excess frequency voltage and as a consequence, occurrence of fault in the function of the power system installations. In this paper, switching voltage excess due to connecting and disconnecting of breakers switches in substations with air insulation has been studied and an appropriate computer model been presented for the simulation of the transition events from switching in substation with air insulation. As these switches cut off, an arch is appeared between breaker connectors, we will study the resistance effect of this electric arch on the limit of transition voltages. ATEP-EMTP software has been employed for simulation and analysis.

In this paper, a novel structure for controlling speed and power of Double Fed Inductive Generators (DFIG) was studied and simulated, in order to maximum power extraction from a variable speed wind turbine. In this structure, direct current link of all convertors in rotor of inductive generators was connected and it is also coupled to the grid through a three-phase pulse width modulated convertor and transformers. Moreover, the number of convertors will be increased concerning to the typical DFIG wind turbines.

By the help of reactive power, different technological index could be improved in strength System. Voltage stability margin, considered as one the important index of strength system security determination. In this way, effects of Economic performance of ISO (Independent System Operator) must be investigated over reactive power dispatch. In reactive power optimal dispatch, usually voltage stability limit in crease per reactive power minimum cost describes as the main goal of this issue on the other hand, different purposes in reactive power. Short - term planning could be expressed as non - liner optimization issue. in this paper, one the newest methods of intelligent search called PSO Algorithm introduced for these models solution could be used that its capability evaluated by applying an Algorithm in optimal supplying of required reactive power for WSCC, 9-Bus System. Responses compared with genetic Algorithm method.

In this paper, indirect rotor field oriented vector control has been studied for Squirrel Cage Induction Motor (SCIM) Drives and it has been indicated that Through vector control, flux-producing current components and torque will be separated and transient response characteristics are similar to separately excited DC machine and System with any load fluctuations or changes in reference values to same DC machine speed can be adjusted and will be the dynamic Like to DC machines.
