ABSTRACT The genus Chrysotus Meigen is reported from Hainan island for the first time. Six species are recorded. The following four species are described as new to science: Chrysotus diaoluoshanus sp. nov., C. hainanensis sp. nov., C. magnuscaputus sp. nov. and C. zhouae sp. nov., Chrysotus biprojicienus Wei & Zhang and Chrysotus serratus Wang et Yang are recorded from Hainan island for the first time. A key to the species of Chrysotus from Hainan island is presented.

The species of Diaphorus Meigen from Tibet are reviewed. Previously only one species, Diaphorus xizangensis Yang & Grootaert, was known to occur in Tibet. The following three species are described as new to science: Diaphorus baheensis sp. nov., Diaphorus longrenensis sp. nov. and Diaphorus nigripedus sp. nov. Diaphorus anatoli Negrobov is recorded from Tibet for the first time. A key to the species of Diaphorus from Tibet and the Himalayan area is presented.

The genus Nepalomyia is the largest genus in the subfamily Peloropeodinae, with 47 described species. In the present paper the Nepalomyia pallipilosa species group is established for the following three described species and seven new species: Nepalomyia biseta sp. n., N. emeiensis sp. n., N. guangxiensis Zhang et Yang, N. liui sp. n., N. pallipilosa (Yang et Saigusa), N. ruiliensis Wang et Yang, N. sichuanensis sp. n., N. ventralis sp. n., N. yangi sp. n. and N. zengchengensis sp. n. Information on their distribution is also given or updated.

The genus Acropsilus Mik, 1878 is reported from China for the first time. Seven species are described as new to science: Acropsilus guangdongensis sp. n., A. guangxiensis sp. n., A. jinxiuensis sp. n., A. luoxiangensis sp. n., A. yunnanensis sp. n., A. zengchengensis sp. n. and A. zhuae sp. n. A key is given to separate these Chinese species.
