More than 1000 people across Britain are believed to be watching porn, sport and movie channels illegally using a program developed by a group of Scottish students.

Abstract Microsoft, this spring, launched a new telephone hotline for victims of software fraud. The ‘Sherlock Holmes Hotline’, aimed at business and personal users, collects information from buyers who find they have purchased unlicensed copies of Microsofts products. In return for providing details of the seller, callers receive genuine replacement programs from Microsoft.
