Canon Law and Pastoral activity. Rejlections on a necessary collaboration. The Vatican II Council in its teaching has put new challenges to the canonist as well as to the theologian. The salvation of mankind, ecclesiology as expressed in Lumen Gentium, the place of Particular Churches, the under standing of Canon Law not merely as a juridical technique, are but some elements to bear in mind. The whole approach of a Faculty of Theology and Canon Law is to keep this in mind in its teaching, if it wants to be faithful to the internai dynamism of the Church.
