VII Congreso Nacional y II Internacional de Aprendizaje-Servicio Universitario, Santiago de Compostela, 13-15 de octubre de 2016.Women, despite their important contributions to science and engineering, are a minority within the disciplines known as STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) its acronym in English. To help solve this problem various initiatives have been carried out, including An engineer at each school. This initiative launched by the Association of Women in Science and Technology of Aragon (AMIT Aragon) aims to bring engineering opportunities to school and encourage girls interest in technology through workshops taught by an engineer. Following this theme a project has been designed in which female engineering students will teach these workshops, making it an experience service-learning university.
