Abstract In the system of In(OH)3-P2O5-amine-HF-H2O, eleven indium phosphates (denoted JInP-n, n = 1–11, J = Jilin University) with various structures, have been hydrothermally synthesized by using different organic amine as templates or ligands. The structural relationships, synthetic rules and potential structural transformation are investigated.
