The Efficiency Analysis of Skyscrapers Based on the Inner Traffic

Mingzhe Li; Masanori Fushimi

The effectiveness of investment on a skyscraper exists as a problem because a substantial portion of the space may be necessary for the inner traffic. We theoretically analyze the influence of such factors of a building as the shape, the height, etc. on the effectiveness of investment.

Even at an equilibrium, people continue to migrate amongregions as well as among agent-types, and yet their overall distribution remainunchanged. The model is also adapted to suggest a theory of traffic distributionin a city. Keywords: Indecomposability, Nonlinear Positive Mappings, Primitivity, Spa-tial Equilibrium, Stability, Traffic Network.

The efficient shape of a skyscraper based on the vertical traffic

Mingzhe Li; Masanori Fushimi

Elevators are indispensable for the vertical traffic in the skyscraper, and the space for the elevator passage area occupies a significant portion of the total area of the skyscraper, reducing the effective dwelling space in the building. Recent studies have shown that the shape of a skyscraper affects its efficiency. Based on the results of these studies, this paper proposes some optimization problems on the shape of a skyscraper. They are nonlinear optimization problems with the constraints which can be solved numerically. Some numerical results are included.
