In this work, we developed an application to support Android 4.0 security system permission. Permission of every application that has been installed is represented, which is classified by the level of risk. The developed tool can make users to review the permission of applications, and users can find whether it is malicious or not. This work can be applied to remove the malicious application.

Even though IoT devices for monitoring and managing the environment are already present at national level, vulnerability related to security in these systems still prevails at large. Therefore, it is required to study and implement a feasible security protocol in these systems. In this paper, we tested optimal lightweight cryptography for security enhancement in an IoT based Environmental Monitoring System that monitors and controls the surrounding temperature and humidity. We compared the CPU usage and processing time when various lightweight cryptography was applied. This helped us to conclude that the optimal lightweight cryptography for IoT based system is LEA which is a block cipher.

As part of the development of information technologies for eco-friendly transportation system, we performed a study on cost-effective bicycle sharing system feasible for developing countries. The sharing system will work based on online registration and real-time monitoring system, using smart phone and passcode. A low budget Kiosk system for bicycle access from the station will be used. This provides efficiency to users as well as the system for smooth and easy operation.

As part of the development of ICT convergence technologies for special education, we implemented a mobile-based disability test application. In this paper, we studied an information visualization method that uses a graph to optimize the display on the screen of mobile devices. The implemented application properly divides the screen of the mobile device, and the test scores obtained from the results of the disability test are displayed in a graph that can be moved left and right using the GraphView library. Test comments are also displayed in a table format that can be simultaneously moved up and down. This provides efficiency to users due to the large amount of data that can be represented.

In this paper, we designed and implemented a security management application based on user-centric evaluation, which is named HOT SAUCE. HOT SAUCE collects statistics of users individual evaluation and comments about the security of applications, and it helps user to manage the security of installed applications. It also helps user to decide whether or not to install a new application by giving the security rating and comments on the application evaluated by other users. It is expected that HOT SAUCE provides Android users with enhanced security management.
