This essay has the aim to explain the historical route of psychology in Brazil in the perspective of the tridimensionality of time, assuming that this aprehension implies the understanding of the past, that structures the present and projects itself into the future. The comprehension of psychology historicity in Brazil as a social construction has as focus the analysis of the contradictions that were present in the various periods, as a condition for the comprehension of the transcendence of the possibilities that permitted better quality in the development of psychology, be it knowledge, be it practice.
