Knowledge Management Strategies by Property Management Companies in Malaysia

Abstract This paper attempts to develop a theoretical base for the understanding of knowledge management concepts that can be used by property management companies in Malaysia. The strategy, which is a conceptual model, is formulated from various literature surveys on knowledge management. A case study includes 25 property management companies registered with the Board of Valuers, Estate Agents and Appraisers. The empirical validation was done to propose a KM strategies model in the context of property management. Using factor analysis, several dimensions were identified as key strategies of KM in property management companies.
