On a Fixed Point Theorem with Application to Integral Equations

Muhammad Nazam; Muhammad Arshad

We introduce the notion of dualistic Geraghty’s type contractions. We prove some fixed point theorems for ordered mappings satisfying the abovementioned contractions. We discuss an application of our fixed point results to show the existence of solution of integral equations.

Fixed Point Theorems for Generalized --Contractions with Applications

Zhenhua Ma; Muhammad Nazam; Sami Ullah Khan; Xiangling Li

We study the sufficient conditions for the existence of a unique common fixed point of generalized - -Geraghty contractions in an -complete partial -metric space. We give an example in support of our findings. Our work generalizes many existing results in the literature. As an application of our findings we demonstrate the existence of the solution of the system of elliptic boundary value problems.

Nemytzki-Edelstein-Meir-Keeler Type Results in -Metric Spaces

Hassen Aydi; Radoje Banković; Ivan Mitrović; Muhammad Nazam

We consider some Nemytzki-Edelstein-Meir-Keeler type results in the context of b-metric spaces. In some cases, we assume that the b-metric is continuous. Our results generalize several known ones in existing literature. We also present some examples to illustrate the usability of our results.

Common fixed points of generalized rational contractions on a closed ball in partial metric spaces

Muhammad Nazam; Muhammad Arshad; Choonkil Park; Sungsik Yun

The notion of generalized contractions of rational type on a closed ball is introduced and used to establish some common fixed point theorems for two, three and four mappings in complete ordered partial metric spaces. These results improve several well-known, primary and conventional results. We give an example to illustrate the main idea of our results that there are mappings which have only fixed points inside or on the closed ball instead of whole space. c ©2017 All rights reserved.

Common Fixed Points of Four Maps Satisfying -Contraction on -Metric Spaces

Muhammad Nazam; Ma Zhenhua; Sami Ullah Khan; Muhammad Arshad

We manifest some common fixed point theorems for four maps satisfying Ciric type -contraction and Hardy-Rogers type -contraction defined on complete -metric spaces. We apply these results to infer several new and old corresponding results. These results also generalize some results obtained previously. We dispense examples to validate our results.
