The main reason of the study is to find out the effect of social network applications and websites on students. Questionnaire was organized to find out those factors. There demographic variables have been obtained from the survey conducted through questioner based 100 respondents. Mostly students used these applications and network just for knowledge. Generally, students of post graduates are using these sites and applications for entertainment purpose. It was also observed that through this research paper mostly students were also use social networking websites/applications due to social and political purpose. The population of present study contained of all male students and female students have education above intermediate age 20-30 years living in D.G.Khan city.

Today, organizational success and performance depends on identifying, attracting, acquiring and maintaining customers in the highly intensive competition environment. The current research identify the problem of enhance the organizational performance through customer relationship management capabilities (Customer interaction management Capability and Customer relationship upgrading Capability) in the presence of competition. Population of this research was telecom sector in Pakistan. Expected sample size was 300 employees from telecom organizations. They was be administered through adopt questionnaire including Customer relationship management capability (Customer Interaction management capability and customer relationship upgrading capability), organizational performance and competition intensity. Multiple logistic regression analysis tests was used for further analysis. The current study was enable companies to make a long term and strong relationship with their customers. This research would enable organizations to understand and use their capabilities better than was possible before.

Strong relationship outcomes depend upon the combination of the relationship marketing tactics and personality traits of the customer. The proposed study will contribute to assess the relationship outcomes in insurance agent – policy holder relations in different ways; to assess the overall impact of the relationship marketing tactics on the efforts made by the firms to retain their customers with them, the overall impact of the personality traits of the customer on the customer relationship proneness, and the combine impact of the retention orientation of the customer and customer relationship proneness on the stronger relationship outcomes in the insurance industry of Pakistan.

Does Islamic Banking System Contributes to Economic Development

The purpose of this paper is to give the true meaning of development from an Islamic perspective. This paper examines the dynamic interactions between Islamic banking and economic growth in Pakistan, to see if the financial system affects and growth, transformation and growth of the financial system. Usually, in most Muslim countries, and in some non-Muslim countries, Islamic banking and works as a part of the banking system and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan is one of them. The aim of this paper was to consider the opinions of the interviewees regarding the role of Islamic banking in Pakistan in economic development. Six interviewees were asked about the types of effects of Islamic banking on economic development in the Pakistan. They were asked about 8 different types of effects. Most respondents believe that Islamic banking in Pakistan had positive impact on economic development. Some scholars around the world consider the use of Islamic banking more convenient for economic development. This result also indicates that improving the infrastructure of Islamic finance in Pakistan could benefit economic development. Islamic banks can play an important role in Pakistan today.

An Exploratory Study of Shari’ah Compliance in Islamic Banking : Evidences from Bangladesh

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to assess the Shari’ah compliance eminence of the Islamic banks in Bangladesh. Design/methodology/approach – The research was grounded on mutually primary and secondary data. Primary data were collected via sample questionnaire survey and individual interview by the researchers; the secondary data were gained from Qur’an, Hadiths, different circular/letters, manuals, research books and journals, annual reports, websites of the sample banks. “Among Shari’ah violation score and bank-specific traits were checked through statistical tools and techniques like weighted average, percentage, SD, variance and correlation by using applying statistical software Statistical package for Social Science ( version17.0).” Findings In Bangladesh Shari’ah compliance status of the Islamic banks is in a susceptiple condition, Shari’ah compliance status extremely diverges amongst the Islamic banks, and due to absence of awareness Shari’ah violation is extreme in financing Activities, lack of honesty in obeying Shari’ah, poor devotion/courtesy in Shari’ah audit and Shari’ah research and privation of strong Shari’ah administrative boarding encompassing twenty-fourhour skilful dexterous associates. Practical implication – The main strategy allegation of this study amongst others are as follows: this study provide strategies to supervisory bodies and Shari’ah boarding associates to govern their future responsibilities and to find their limitations; to acquire the anticipated idea of current state of Shari’ah compliance by senior manager and Workforces and to ascertain their flaws in this respect; this provide strategies to indicate the improved Islamic banks to execute banking transaction for clients and other stakeholders; and the questions upraised in this paper may useably practice by the researchers in Islamic banking for more inclusive studies in Islamic banking and Shari’ah compliance. Originality/value – Status of Shari’ah compliance with a new dataset and comparing Shari’ah violation score with bank-specific attributes can be explanatory a new opportunity by this paper.

Analysis of Key Performance Factors Affecting Residential Construction Projects in Pakistan

Construction is one of the major sectors of Pakistan economy, ranked second to agriculture and manufacture due to direct and indirect contribution in GDP and employment. The problem of delays in construction industry have significant impact on project performance whereas well organized projects lead to timely completion. The aim of this research is to develop a framework 1) to identify factors affecting performance of residential projects, 2) ranking the factors using Relative Importance Index(RII) and 3) examining/analyzing the significance of factors by factor analysis and regression modeling. The developed framework is the tool for analyzing and identify the impact of factors and assist construction managers to take necessary measure in reducing the delay impact. These findings will be expected to significantly contribute in improving project performance in Pakistan residential construction projects.

Mobile commerce services and application has started in a new and unique way in the world. United States has more computers then their populations while in Europe and Asia has more mobile phone which started Mobile commerce in a unique way. It shows a unique behavior that in one part of the world progress in computer production and uses computer technology in a routine work. It is also trying to implement computer in their services while the other part of the world is trying to the usage of the mobile phones and all their population is trying to get benefit from mobile. United States is far behind in mobile phones then Asia. But both are trying to get maximum benefits from technology and make their lives simple and convenient. Mobile phones are growing very rapidly. It is predicted that global mobile market will grow from 18.5 percent in 2004 to 616.4 million. It is a hugest jump in the mobile market that showed the adoption of new technology. This is the largest segment of the market, accounting for 564.6 million units in 2008 or 74 percent of all sales.

The work on e-banking and customer satisfaction elaborated in previous studies but in perspective of brand trust as a mediator is the area of in this study. This study will elaborate the significant antecedents of e-service quality and their relation with customer satisfaction which is using electronic services of banks in Pakistan as well as it will elaborate the mediating effect of brand trust. This study will dig out the relationship of customer perception regarding e-services quality in banking sector and its impact on customer satisfaction with mediating role of brand trust. Second the study will see the sights the clarification to pose the brand as trust worthy in a cutthroat upbringing like Pakistani market.

A Critical Evaluation of Micro Credit Utilized by Small Farming Community : A Case Study of Mandi Baha-Ud-Din

Credit is an important tool for the farming community to get command over the use of working capital, fixed capital and consumption goods. With the dawn of green revolution, there were rapid changes in crop production technology, so credit requirements have increased for Agriculture crop production. In Pakistan, agriculture is characterized as having large number of small and marginal farms with limited financial resources. To overcome this issue various financial institutions are working in the country to fulfill the needs of farmers for better agriculture productivity. This study is purposed to ascertain the impact of credit on agriculture production, linking agriculture production function as a dependent variable with the explanatory variables like agriculture credit, seed, water, labor force and other inputs like fertilizers and pesticides. By employing Cob Doughlas production function; we can filter out the real time role of agricultural credit in changing the crop production. Times series data at District level would be used to pursue the specific objectives. The study would generate helpful policy input.
