The opinion mining is that to use the existing data mining technology also uploaded blog to web, to use product comment, the opinion mining can extract the author`s opinion therefore it not judge text`s subject, only judge subject`s emotion. In this paper, published opinion mining algorithms and the text using speech recognition API for non-voice data to judge the emotions suggested. The system is open and the Subject associated with Google Voice Recognition API sunwihwa algorithm, the algorithm determines the polarity through improved design, based on this interview, speech recognition, which implements the model.

Abstract The rate of disappearance people such as children, demented elderly, and disabled is being increased every year. In this paper, we suggest accident prevention system for second class citizens which is based on Bluetooth and NFC to prevent second class citizens’ disappearance. Nowadays, most of people are using a smart phone, and these smart phones usually have Bluetooth and NFC module. Therefore in this paper, we would design and implement the accident prevention system for second class citizens and their guardians by using smart phones which have Bluetooth and NFC module. Ki-Young Lee; Il-Hee Seo; Myung-Jae Lim; Kyu-Ho Kim; Jeong-Lae Kim

Recently, due to the increasing demand for mobile devices, mobile searching market is rapidly growing. However, there is the limit of screen size, when searching for mobile devices, various results should be shown at a glance. The reason is that results are important given that up to 43 percent of people tend to check only first page. In this paper, a set of keywords for searching will be used to find out the users` interests. Users were divided into groups after going through Collaboration filtering. Therefore, the result of this experiment, reduced time for searching and improved quality of searching were confirmed.

Implementing Mobile Interface Based Voice Recognition System

Myung-Jae Lim; Eun-Ser Lee; Young Man Kwon

Recently, as supply of smart phone is widely spreading, various voice applications for user’s convenience are under development. However, since Google Android-based smart phone delivered by Korean manufacturer processes voice recognition through Google server, it has a weakness to take long time to be processed and need activation of internet. This paper implemented Android-based voice recognition system using continuous HMM without having to use Google server. As the result of evaluation for proposed voice recognition system and Google’s voice recognition system, the proposed system showed similar voice recognition performance but its processing speed is proved to be better than Google’s.

A Study on Improvement of Wave Height Algorithm using Accelerometer

Dong-Keun Chung; Myung-Jae Lim; Joon-Taik Lee

Most of studies on wave height algorithms that are using at buoys describe algorithms using double integral to determine the position data from the acceleration data measured from the accelerometer. but sometimes, it can involve some cumulative error in that process, and result in misjudgment or unstabe system. On the other hand, It is widely known that the motion of fluid particles on or underneath a linear progressive wave is periodic and elliptic. This fact is considered in this article and leads a improved algorithms with no integral processing.

Study on two privacy-oriented protocols for information communication systems

Taek-Young Youn; Jongsung Kim; Myung-Jae Lim

In these days, the privacy of a user in information communication system is more important than ever before. Especially, the property is important for mobile communication systems due to the mobility of underlying mobile devices. Until now, many cryptographic tools have been proposed for achieving users’ privacy. In this paper, we review two privacy-oriented cryptographic protocols, and show their security holes. We also provide some countermeasure to fix the weaknesses. First, we discuss the security of the user identification scheme proposed by Hsu and Chuang which permits a user to anonymously log into a system and establish a secret key shared with the system. We show that the Hsu-Chuang scheme is not secure against known session key attacks, and then we provide a countermeasure which can be used for enhancing the security the Hsu-Chuang scheme. Secondly, we review a deniable authentication proposed by Harn and Ren which protects the privacy of a message sender. Then we show that the protocol has a potential incompleteness and two weaknesses.

Implementation of the remote measuring system for addiction patients in rehabilitation applying vital sensor

Myung-Jae Lim; Ki-Young Lee; Young-Man Kwon

Recently, with the rapid development of related ubiquitous industries, ubiquitous-Zone (u-Zone) development is being promoted to build a ubiquitous environment within a specific area. From a health care system perspective, in particular, u-Zone is expected to contribute to reducing cost and effort to manage patients’ condition such as in-patients, addiction patients and mental patients. In contrast, the current health care system only targets specific persons or continues to expand the internal system of hospitals. As addiction patients are on the rise in terms of drug addiction, including alcohol and narcotics, behavioural addiction attributable to the exposure to games, gambling, Internet and mobile communications and shopping is also becoming a problem. That is why it is difficult to collect data for the daily addiction status, which causes difficulties in systematic management and accurate diagnosis. Therefore, this paper suggests a remote measuring system to collect continuous condition data, which monitors the addiction patients via the vital sign measuring sensor within u-Zone. That is, the system collects their condition information from the sensors measuring heart rate, body temperature and acceleration, based on which the specialists determine the patients emotional state. These data are expected to become the basis of diagnosing and managing addiction patients.

A Study on Sex Classification of a Name using Naive Bayesian

Myung-Jae Lim; Jin-Pyo Jung; Myung-Gwan Kim

Abstract This article employs Naive Bayesian Classifier to realize a system that can distinguish the sex of a name. Unlike foreign names, in Korean names, the pronoun referring to a person shows discordance with sex. With the characteristics of Korean names, however, the study distinguishes names frequently used for men and for women. And as it also includes names of which sex is rather ambiguous such as proper nouns, the accuracy of it is somewhat low. The result of the experiment conducted in this article indicates 84% accuracy for Korean men and 88% for Korean women; thus, the total accuracy equals 86%. Meanwhile, about foreign names, men show 80% accuracy, and women 84%, so the total accuracy equals 83%. Myung-Jae Lim; Hyun-Jun Seo; Eun-Ser Lee; Ki-Young Lee

Recently, mobile communication service is rapidly spreading, the number of smart phone users is sky-rocketing. As mobile market is growing, people are getting more interested in order and payment system of products using smart phones. Therefore, this paper suggests an order system which is combined with smart phone using NFC among local wireless communication. This paper applied a reader reacting to create RF field from generator among NFC communication modes for security purpose during payment process and also applied manual communication mode which enables communication between reader and tags reacting to commands generated from generator. Through this system, smart phone based order system that provides rapid and correct ordering and convenience for users is expected to be available.

Ki-Young Lee; Eun-Joo Seo; Myung-Jae Lim; Sun-Jin Oh; Gyoo-Seok Choi

In the current IT market, the expectation is growing that the contents reflecting our emotions and feelings will be available soon. Accordingly, the research to analyze emotional elements is focused on the voice recognition or biomedical signal, both of which express out emotions. In this paper, the interface, analyzing voice recognition from a mobile device and biomedical signal reflecting change in emotions, is designed and established to market it able to predict the users’ emotional state.
