Moments of the response function for the 2H nucleus at q=1.05 fm−1

In an ee′ experiment, the transverse and the longitudinal response function are measured for the 2H nucleus at q=1.05 fm−1, and their moments of orders −1, 0, 1, and 2 are obtained.

Abstract The elastic scattering of 225.0 ± 0.2 MeV electrons by the nuclei 116,118,124 Sn was measured to study the change of the charge density distribution parameters with the number of added neutrons in the nucleus. The obtained results are compared with other electron scattering experiments and muon-capture data.

Saturation of Coulomb sum rules in the 6Li case

The Coulomb sums SL(q) of the 6Li nucleus have been obtained from electron scattering measurements at 3-momentum transfers q = 1.125–1.625 fm−1. It is found that at q > 1.35 fm−1 the Coulomb sum of the nucleus becomes saturated: SL(q) = 1 .
