A series of foamed organoplastics based on a combination of foamed fully aromatic polyimide binders and Arimid T polyimide felt were prepared. New composite foamed organoplastics reinforced with montmorillonite nanoparticles were prepared using commercially available aromatic monomers.

Thermal aging of carbon- and glass-reinforced plastics based on heat-resistant polyimide binders

A series of fibrous composites, carbon- and glass-reinforced plastics based on heat-resistant polyimide binders, were prepared. The viscoelastic and strength properties of the composites obtained confirm the enhanced heat resistance of the binders.

Thermal reactions of H complexes formed by methyl and ethyl diesters of aromatic tetracarboxylic acids with diamines were studied by thermal analysis. Some kinetic parameters of formation and degradation of polyimides during thermolysis in the self-generated atmosphere were determined.
