An annotated checklist of the chrysidid wasps (Hymenoptera, Chrysididae) from China

Abstract An annotated checklist of the Chinese Chrysididae is provided. The list includes 188 species and subspecies in twenty three genera of five subfamilies. Four species are proposed as new combinations: Hedychridium cupreum asianum (Linsenmaier, 1997), Philoctetes deauratus (Mocsáry, 1914), Philoctetes mordvilkoi (Semenov-Tian-Shanskij, 1932), and Pseudomalus hypocritus (du Buysson, 1893). Two species are revalidated: Chrysis consobrina Mocsáry, 1889, and Philoctetes mongolicus (du Buysson, 1901). Historical data with comments on the current taxonomic position, and the pictures of sixty five types are also given.

The genus Omalus Panzer, 1801 (Hymenoptera, Chrysididae) from China, with descriptions of four new species

Abstract The Chinese species of the genus Omalus Panzer, 1801 are revised and keyed for the first time. Eight species are recorded, of which four are new to science and one is new to China: Omalus aeneus (Fabricius, 1787), Omalus berezovskii (Semenov-Tian-Shanskij, 1932), Omalus potanini (Semenov-Tian-Shanskij, 1932), Omalus imbecillus (Mocsáry, 1889) (new to China), Omalus helanshanus sp. n., Omalus probiaccinctus sp. n., Omalus pseudoimbecillus sp. n., and Omalus tibetanus sp. n.

Revision of the Chinese Cleptes (Hymenoptera, Chrysididae) with description of new species.

Abstract The genus Cleptes Latreille, 1802 from China is revised and illustrated for the first time. Seventeen species of Cleptes are recorded. Nine species are new to science, Cleptes albonotatus sp. n., Cleptes eburnecoxis sp. n., Cleptes flavolineatus sp. n., Cleptes helanshanus sp. n., Cleptes niger sp. n., Cleptes shengi sp. n., Cleptes sinensis sp. n., Cleptes tibetensis sp. n., and Cleptes villosus sp. n.,and two species are reported as new to China, Cleptes metallicorpus Ha, Lee & Kim, 2011, and Cleptes seoulensis Tsuneki, 1959.

Contribution to the genus Omalus Panzer, 1801 of China, with descriptions of two new species (Hymenoptera, Chrysididae)

In spite of that Chinese species of the genus Omalus Panzer, 1801 were recently revised by Wei et al. (2014), the study of more material has revealed the presence of other four species: two of them are new, O. corrugatus Rosa, Wei & Xu, sp. nov. (China, Guangdong) and O. hainanensis Rosa, Wei & Xu, sp. nov. (China, Hainan); the other two are newly recorded from China, O. stella (Semenov & Nikolskaya, 1954) and O. timidus (Nurse, 1902), comb. nov. (from the genus Holophris Mocsáry, 1890). An update key to Chinese species and illustrations are provided.

The inaequalis species-group (Hymenoptera, Chrysididae, Chrysis ) in China, with description of a new species

The Chinese Chrysis of the inaequalis species-group are revised and C. extraordinaria sp. nov. is described. Chrysis extraordinaria sp. nov. is recognisable by the following characteristics: mesopleuron tridentate, apex of T3 with six teeth, and T3 metallic blue, contrasting with T1 and T2 golden to metallic red. A modification to the species-group key by Kimsey & Bohart (1991) is proposed.

Revalidation of genus Chrysellampus Semenov, 1932, with description of two new species from China (Hymenoptera, Chrysididae)

The genus Chrysellampus Semenov, 1932 is revalidated. Chinese species are revised and keyed for the first time. Five species are recorded, two of them are new for science: Chrysellampus obtusidentibus Rosa, Wei & Xu, sp. nov. (Yunnan), and C. proximocellis Rosa, Wei & Xu, sp. nov. (Gansu and Yunnan). New synonymy for Chrysellampus Semenov, 1932 (=Parellampus Semenov, 1932, syn. nov.) and new combination for C. praeteritorum (Semenov, 1932), comb. nov. are proposed.

The genus Philoctetes Abeille de Perrin, 1879 from China, with description of two new species (Hymenoptera, Chrysididae)

The Chinese species of the genus Philoctetes Abeille de Perrin, 1879 are revised and keyed for the first time. Six species are recorded, of which two are new for science: Philoctetes longiflagellis Rosa, Wei & Xu, sp. nov. (Inner Mongolia and Shanxi) and P. simulator Rosa, Notton & Xu, sp. nov. (Tianjin). The new synonym, Philoctetes cupratus (Mócsary, 1914), syn. nov. of Philoctetes mongolicus (du Buysson, 1901), is proposed. Philoctetes mongolicus (du Buysson, 1901) is newly recorded from Pakistan.

One new species and three new records of Chrysis Linnaeus from China (Hymenoptera, Chrysididae)

Abstract Four Chinese Chrysis species-groups, the antennata, capitalis, elegans, and maculicornis species-groups, are discussed. Chrysis lapislazulina Rosa & Xu, sp. n. is described in the elegans species-group; and three species, C. brachyceras Bischoff, 1910, C. subdistincta Linsenmaier, 1968 and C. yoshikawai Tsuneki, 1961, are reported for the first time from China in other species-groups. A new synonymy is proposed for C. ignifascia Mocsáry, 1893 = C. taiwana Tsuneki, 1970, syn. n. A short historical review of the elegans species-group is provided. C. goetheana Semenov, 1967 is transferred from the elegans species-group to the maculicornis species-group. C. mesochlora Mocsáry, 1893 is considered a nomen dubium.

Revision of the Oriental genus Holophris Mocsáry, 1890 and description of the genus Leptopareia Rosa & Xu, gen. nov. (Hymenoptera, Chrysididae).

Two Oriental genera of the tribe Elampini (Chrysidinae) are here discussed. The genus Holophris Mocsáry, 1890 is redescribed, and the genus Leptopareia Rosa & Xu, gen. nov. (type species Hedychrum borneanum Cameron, 1908) is established. Two new species are described: Holophris thailandica Rosa, Wei, Notton & Xu, sp. nov. (Thailand), and Leptopareia luzonensis Rosa, Wei, Notton & Xu, sp. nov. (Philippines, Luzon). The lectotype of Hedychrum borneanum Cameron, 1908 is designated. New combinations are proposed for L. borneana (Cameron, 1908), comb. nov., L. purpurea (Smith, 1860), comb. nov., L. abyssinica (Mocsáry, 1914), comb. nov., L. confusa (Kimsey, 1988), comb. nov., L. congoensis (du Buysson, 1900), comb. nov., and L. kalliopsis (Zimmermann, 1961), comb. nov. (all are from Holophris Mocsáry). Holophris marginella (Mocsáry, 1890) is newly recorded from China and Thailand; H. taiwana (Tsuneki, 1970) from India, Indonesia and Laos; and Leptopareia borneana (Cameron, 1908) from Thailand. Keys to Oriental genera of the tribe Elampini and to Oriental species of the two genera are provided.

Contributions to the knowledge of the Chinese Primeuchroeus Linsenmaier, 1968 (Hymenoptera, Chrysididae), with a key to species.

Abstract The genus Primeuchroeus Linsenmaier, 1968 from China is revised and an illustrated identification key is produced for the first time. Three species are recorded from China, with one species, Primeuchroeus yongdaerianus Kim, new to China.
