A new suggestion for an irrigation schedule with an artificial neural network

This study used artificial neural networks (ANNs) to propose a new system of irrigation ratios and time intervals. Data on soil moisture, soil type, product type and time interval were used as input parameters for the ANN and the network was trained through the Levenberg–Marquardt learning algorithm. The outputs of the model determined the water requirement of the plant and the irrigation time intervals. The aim of this study is to perform irrigation at night, to reduce water losses from evaporation and thereby promote water conservation. In addition, the study aimed to save on energy, as less irrigation would be provided compared to daytime irrigation. The system was tested in a strawberry orchard of 1000u2009m2 in the Serik district of Antalya, Turkey. The trial achieved a 20.46% water saving and 23.9% energy saving.

Developing agricultural irrigation technology compatible with national energy efficiency policy

When you look at the usage percentage of water resources in the world in terms of sectors you figure out that it is mostly used in agricultural production with 69 percent of the rate. It is vital that managing such kind of resource perfectly and supplying it to the needs of human being is as important as water itself if you pay attention the earth is static and the population has been rising continuously. When the studies inspected, there are a lot of information concerning the conscious and controlled usage of agricultural water. However the studies have calculated the irrigation periods looking soil moisture, temperature, plant diversity and other parameters. In the irrigation plan offered in the study, it was determined that via night-irrigation and caring the needs of the plants, 20,46 percent of the water saving and 23,9 percent of the energy saving were provided. 20,46 percent of the water saving shows that water resources will be able to used longer if you take care that 69 percent of existing water resources is being used in agricultural irrigation.

Uygulanan teknikler i?letim performanslary ve grafiksel secicilik yonunden kyyaslandy. Sonuc olarak Shannon Enerji uygulamasynyn i?lem suresinin AFD,KZFD ve PGSY uygulamalaryna gore cok daha hyzly oldu?u ve S1 ve S2 kalp seslerini tanymlamada daha etkin bir metot oldu?u goruldu.

Real time wireless monitoring of Ecg and Pcg signals at computer

In this study, the signals of ECG and PCG are taken simultaneously in the clinical environment and are transferred wirelessly. With the prepared software the transferred data, which are displayed on the computer of the physician, will facilitate the comparison of the ECG and PCG formation and will also help the diagnosis of abnormalities in heart. In this system, there are two units called a transmitter and a receiver. The signals in the transmitter unit can be transferred to the computer by means of two-channel Data Acquisition Card (DAQ) in the receiver unit which digitized the signals via RF wireless transmission process and also can be displayed on the physicians computer with prepared 2-channel Data Imagining Software.
