This research aims to present a Facebook-based collaborative learning (CL) framework that supports initial development of social nego-tiation and debate competencies. This framework has implications for the International Debate Education Association (IDEA, 2018) that aims to promote the opportunity to debate, breaking down barriers of location, race and class while extending the boundaries of online-learning. The guidelines for CL and social negotiation in this study are based on social constructivist theory with the ethical system that value safe and structured environment for debate and negotiation. The integration of Facebook as an information and communication technology (IICT) provides conditions of CL and social negotiation, multiple modes and methods of learning and multiple perspectives, to achieve learning goals. This practical framework under the guidelines of design science research methodology (DSRM) motivates learners to actively engage in the CL and social negotiation processes with empathy, self- control, endurance and reasoning to develop critical thinking and awareness. This study will contribute to the World Universities Debating Championship (WUDC) that aims to com-plement communication skills of students with a culture of research and critical thinking. Experts reviewed and confirmed the validity of the framework. Three successive iterations working with Facebook members and experts in informal learning were conducted to demon-strate and validate how learners started developing social negotiation and debate competencies.

Malaysia is a modern Muslim country where the research on Halal product identification is at the peak. In this study, the authors have developed the mobile application which is based on Radio frequency identification near field communication RFID/NFC. The author first developed the database based on the data from Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia JAKIM, which is Malaysian Halal logo identification authority then the mobile application which uses the Near Field Communication to detect the Halal food using the Radio Frequency Identification. In this paper authors have performed the experimental analysis by comparing the Barcode system that is comprised of parallel line detected by the simple webcam for the Halal logo identification and the new developed RFID NFC mobile application. Paired sample T-Test was performed by using the SPSS 23.0 version. The results revealed that there is significantly difference between the usability, efficiency, affordability, security and satisfaction. The users are more satisfied with the newly developed mobile application as compared to old halal logo system in Malaysia.

This study is focused on validating halal status for food products by using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) or Near Field Communication (NFC) technology to enhance existing methods in Malaysia. In this research, an effective method to identify and confirm the food status is proposed. Besides, designing a database of halal products, halal identification and validation applications for android smart phones are considered. Investigation on advanced technologies to introduce an RFID based identification system using current smart phones and evaluation of other methods to realize the suitable method is highlighted.

Customer satisfaction plays very important role in online shopping. There is always a drought on what actually drives the customer satisfaction in online shopping. Many studies have been done to understand the customer satisfaction in online shopping, however, as of now, there is no study found that have exactly define the user satisfaction through trust and security. These are the two factors that have been identified as a major barrier in customers satisfaction in online shopping, especially in the business to consumer B2C e-commerce mode. We also consider the cybercrime as another major barrier to achieve the customer satisfaction in online shopping. Although numerous studies have been conducted which related to the area, there is no satisfactory solution for trust and security in online shopping has been attained, therefore, in order to address this issue, we proposed a research framework that emphasize on trust and security mechanisms to achieve customers satisfaction. We also show the negative impact of cybercrime on customer trust and satisfaction. In this paper we present the framework that has been designed based on five essential current issues to achieve customer satisfaction in online shopping, which directly impacted the customers trust. The essential current issues namely are financial security, personal security, system security, privacy and cybercrime.
