Processo da paternidade na adolescência

Este estudo qualitativo teve por objetivo conhecer a concepcao masculina de paternidade e compreender as estrategias masculinas de enfrentamento face as pressoes afetivas, sociais e legais desse processo. A coleta de informacoes foi por entrevista semi-estruturada com oito adolescentes de Porto Alegre - RS, Brasil, com idade entre 15 e 19 anos, que vivenciavam a paternidade. A interpretacao e a analise basearam-se na analise de conteudo. Da analise dos relatos desses jovens emergiram as categorias - Relacionamento dos Adolescentes; Paternidade e Genero; e, Significado de ser Pai. Do olhar atento sobre a paternidade na adolescencia, traz-se a luz a compreensao de questoes relativas a exclusao masculina nas vivencias objetivas de vida marcadas no compromisso com a paternidade.

Conhecimento, percepções e assistência à saúde da mulher no climatério

The experience of the climacteric period is the object of the present descriptive-qualitative study with women from the cities of Canoas and Porto Alegre, RS. The collection of data was carried out through semi-structured interviews with 15 women aged from 41 to 59 years old. The interpretation and analysis were based on the analysis of content. The women interviewed were confused regarding what climacteric is, relating it to the symptoms associated to aging. They acknowledged that this phase of their lives presents positive aspects and experience it without worries. The perceptions of the women interviewed are fragmented and medical care professionals believe it is an illness subject to treatment.
