Estando conscientes da importância do e-learning no seio das atuais estruturas formativas e contextos profissionais, ambiciona-se com este estudo contribuir para a modernizacao das praticas formativas implementadas ao nivel da formacao continua dos magistrados, atraves de uma analise dos modelos pedagogicos de formacao a distância adotados pelos paises pertencentes a Rede Ibero-Americana das Escolas Judiciais. Esta investigacao assumiu os seguintes objetivos: i) identificar praticas de formacao a distância e/ou em blendedlearning; ii) efetuar um levantamento dos principais guidelines existentes ao nivel da planificacao, concecao e avaliacao de acoes de formacao em regime a distância e/ou em blended-learning; e iii) analisar os modelos pedagogicos adoptados a este nivel. Este artigo centra-se na analise dos resultados inerentes ao contexto internacional, mais concretamente dos modelos de suporte utilizados no âmbito da formacao a distância com vista ao desenvolvimento de um ‘state of the art’, tendo como proposito a implementacao de um modelo pedagogico de formacao a distância. Os documentos recolhidos constituiram um corpus de dados concetual que nos permitiu constatar que existe um esforco estabelecido para a implementacao de dispositivos de formacao a distância na atividade formativa proporcionada aos magistrados em servico.

This proposed doctoral symposium aims to present a research project in progress in Information and Communication Technologies in Education at Instituto de Educação da Universidade de Lisboa. The study aims to analyze how the perception of pedagogical usability of learning management systems influence the adoption of these systems by teachers. To this end we want understand the contribution of pedagogical usability as a determining factor in the process of technology adoption.

iTEC -Innovative Technologies for Engaging Classrooms- is a four-year project in which European Schoolnet is working with education ministries, technology providers and research institutions to transform the way that technology is used in teaching and learning. With 26 project partners, including 14 Ministries of Education, iTEC is the largest initiative yet on the design of learning and teaching for the future classroom. Within iTEC, educational tools and resources have been piloted in over 2,000 classrooms across 19 European countries with the key objective of providing a sustainable model for fundamentally redesigning teaching and learning.
