SABER ECOLÓGICO TRADICIONAL DA COMUNIDADE RURAL LINHA CRICIUMAL, CÂNDIDO DE ABREU – PR: PRÁTICAS E REPRESENTAÇÕES DA FERTILIDADE DAS TERRAS

RESUMO Considerando a problematica ecologica mundial e a importância de entender as potencialidades dos recursos naturais locais, o presente estudo objetivou compreender o saber ecologico tradicional de agricultores da comunidade rural Linha Criciumal (Cândido de Abreu – PR) acerca das potencialidades produtivas da paisagem de seu territorio. A metodologia se baseou no aporte interdisciplinar das ciencias naturais (pedologia, botânica e ecologia) e ciencias humanas (geografia e etnociencias). Destarte, permitiu-se entender a relacao dos agricultores com a paisagem local, caracterizada pelo sistema de praticas materiais e imateriais, que incide sobre os elementos e processos edaficos (pedologicos e agroecologicos) desta paisagem, alicercando a representacao coletiva da fertilidade das terras. Assim, foi possivel compreender a estrutura do sistema de classificacao vernacular acerca da qualidade das terras (atributos fisicos, quimicos e biologicos) da paisagem agricola da comunidade, bem como a classificacao local das plantas indicadoras de sua qualidade. ABSTRACT Considering worldwide ecological issues and importance of understanding the potential of local natural resources, the present study aimed to understand traditional ecological knowledge of farmers in the rural community Linha Criciumal (Cândido de Abreu-PR) about the productive potential of landscape of its territory. The methodology was based on interdisciplinary contribution of natural sciences (pedology, botany and ecology) and humanities (geography and ethnosciences). Thus, allowed if understand the relationship of farmers with the local landscape, characterized by the system of material and immaterial practices, which focuses on elements and processes edaphic (pedological and agroecological), basing collective representation of fertility of lands. So, it was possible to understand the structure of system of classification vernacular about quality of lands (physical, chemical and biological attributes) of the agricultural landscape of community, as well as the local classification of plants indicative of its quality. RESUMEN Dado la problematica ecologica mundial y la importancia de comprender el potencial de los recursos naturales locales, este estudio tuvo como objetivo comprender el conocimiento ecologico tradicional de agricultores de la comunidad rural Linha Criciumal (Cândido de Abreu - PR) sobre las potencialidades productivas del paisaje de su territorio. La metodologia se baso en el aporte interdisciplinario de las ciencias naturales (pedologia, la botanica y la ecologia) y ciencias humanas (geografia y etnociencias). Asi, se permitio entender la relacion de los agricultores con el paisaje local, que se caracteriza por el sistema de practicas materiales y inmateriales, que se centra en los elementos y procesos edaficos (pedologicos y agroecologicos) de este paisaje, basando la representacion colectiva de la fertilidad de la tierra. De esta manera, fue posible comprender la estructura del sistema de clasificacion vernacular sobre la calidad de las tierras (atributos fisicos, quimicos y biologicos ) del paisaje agricola de la comunidad, asi como la clasificacion local de plantas indicadoras de su calidad. Formação do sistema agrário na região do Paraná Tradicional: um estudo de caso da comunidade rural de Linha Criciumal em Cândido de Abreu

The present study seeks, in a first moment, portray the history of socio-spatial configuration of agrarian system of Paraná Traditional, and as central objective, at a second moment, is sought to characterize and analyze the agrarian system of the rural community Linha Criciumal in city of Cândido de Abreu. Contact between immigrant and Caboclo in this region will end up providing new social elements to the agrarian System in formation, from the appearance of the productive peasant logic which is created from this contact. The methodology included literature review and fieldwork. First, it was sought approximation to the community, and through participatory reasearch techniques interviews of open, semi-structured and unstructured character were carried out. Thus, it was possible to characterize the agrarian System of Linha Criciumal as hybrid, as it has characteristics from both European agricultural models and Caboclo, as well as the incorporation of elements of the modernization of agriculture. Today (XXI century) we observe productive landscapes, different from those of 40 years ago, where there were more equitable social relations with a more cohesive social organization and greater dependence on the limitations of the physical environment.
