The Unified Modeling Language (UML) is probably the most widely known and used notation for object- oriented analysis and design. UML consists of various graphical notations, which capture the static system structures (class diagrams), system component behaviors (state transition diagrams) and system component interactions (collaboration and sequence diagrams). UML notations can be produced with the help of CASE (Computer-aided software engineering) tools such as Rational Rose. Basically, we proposed the development of an Assessment system for UML class diagram, the UML Class Diagram Assessor (UCDA). This tool will receive a students UML class diagram in the form of Rational Rose petal files. In this paper we present a design of UML Class Diagram Assessor (UCDA) that evaluates UML class diagrams automatically. UCDA evaluates the diagram based on three aspects: its structure; its correctness and language used. The output of UCDA is a list of comments on a diagram that is hoped to guide students in understanding on how to represent the system requirement in UML model correctly.

Nowadays, the usefulness of the social network is very widespread. Besides used to socialize, business and advertising, the social network is also used for learning. In this study, Facebook is used as a medium of learning. E-learning applications have been embedded into Facebook as Facebook applications. This is to facilitate access to e-learning applications. Previous research has shown that web usage mining method could only track users who access e-learning applications on the social network. They did not track the behaviour of users in e-learning applications. Therefore, the use of Tin Can API is proposed to overcome this issue. Integrating e-learning applications with Tin Can API enables user behaviour can be tracked and recorded. In this paper, the use Tin Can API for web usage mining in e-learning applications on the social network is explored.

Despite its original use, which was very different, WordNet is used and used today as ontology. WordNet has a complex concepts concerning specific knowledge on semantic domain. The main objective is to analyze and recognize the most suitable and easier method for extracting WordNet lexicographer files which is very useful in developing the propose framework. In this paper, we describe the methodologies of this research. They are information binding, WordNet forensic, case analysis and method analysis. Some benefits are expected from this study are the development of framework for extracting WordNet lexicographer files for semi-formal notation, the development of middleware for extracting WordNet lexicographer files, the creation of own database for storing extracted lexicographer files from WordNet. The proposed framework will make WordNet efficiently exploitable in several applications.

ARCS model is a motivational design model for learning environments to stimulate and sustain learner motivation using the problem-solving approach. The ARCS model often used to identify and solve problems in a systematic way to motivate a learner in classroom learning or e-learning environment. The gamification of learning provides a useful technique to drive engagement and motivation in applying game mechanics and dynamics into learning activities. In spite of the success of gamification of learning, there are also failures. The proper method is needed to integrate gamification into learning. In this paper, we propose an enhanced ARCS model for gamification of learning called ARCS+G. The ARCS+G model is aimed to provide a solution for the problems in utilizing gamification of learning.
