This research is a continuous study from the previous research and concentrates on analyzing biological effects on blood count (hematology) and blood bio-chemistry. Radio signal generator was set to WiFi frequency of 2.4 GHz. This frequency is transmitted and radiated by using antenna towards 30 control samples of white albino mice. The antenna is placed at 1 meter distance to visualize the amount of radiation energy as normal situation for human in receiving WiFi signal. The radiation was exposed to mice continuously everyday for 8 hours and for 6 months period. For biological test, the control samples and exposed samples were taken to Veterinary Laboratory to undergo the blood test procedure on the second week of every month, for six months period. The blood tests were done to observe any changes in average packed cell volume (PCV), hemoglobin, red blood cell, and white blood cell and blood biochemistry tests. The spectrum analyzer was used to monitor the RF signal level received by the samples. The objective of this research is to study the effect of biological characteristics on WiFi radiation exposure to people. The methodology for this research is conducted on a laboratory with a few cages consists of 30 male mice and they were placed at a far-field distance of 1.0m from the antenna of the RF generator source. Another cage control which consists of 30 male mice was placed far away from radiation area, almost under free-radiation. The results were categorized into three tests that are Pathology Lab, Blood Count and Biochemistry Lab. From the tests, its shown that the degeneration occurs in the cells on some organs through histopathological procedures.

This paper is discusses on the designing of helical antenna in the High Frequency (HF) range from 3 MHz to 30 MHz. The software used for the simulation is the CST Microwave Studio (CST MWS) which is an analytical tool that provides an accurate 3D EM simulation results for high frequency design. Several parameters dimension and helicals profiles were studied in order to obtained a suitable resonance frequency. Among the helical antenna parameters that being studied were on its different forms that link to multiple diameters, radius ratio, and number of turns. In this paper, attention is focused on helical antennas which find important applications in communication systems, primarily because of their circular polarization and wide bandwidth. The helical antenna, first introduced by Kraus in 1946 [4], has been subject of extensive investigations during the past five decades. Many modifications to the basic helix geometry have been proposed with the aim of improving the gain, bandwidth, axial ratio, and VSWR. More recently, the possibility of size reduction, while maintaining the radiation characteristics, has been explored. Both the theoretical and simulation results will be presented.

This paper proposes an android-based elderly support system as an alternative way for existing care homes or health care centers. The aims of the study are to monitor the users based on their location via GPS tracking method and detect the users heart rate using a portable pulse sensor. This project can be divided into two parts; development of android application and hardware implementation. Android application is developed to integrate a caretaker subsystem with the controller. A caretaker subsystem acts as an admin of the system which responsible for monitoring the users. Hardware implementation involves construction of a prototype equipped with Arduino microcontroller, Global Positioning System (GPS) module, Global System for Mobile Communication (GSM) modem, Bluetooth module and power supply unit. A set of data collection is analyzed to evaluate the consistency of the heartbeat monitoring function. The proposed project offers a portable day care service for elderly people via android smart phone in a low cost manner.

This paper presents an innovative computer lab management tools to improvise traditional computer lab management. This is due to a few issues such as security, operation management and managerial decision support have to be faced by most of the computer lab management. The factors such as lack of access control and inadequate security have caused a significant direct loss. Therefore, this research prompted to develop a Window-based computer monitoring system, ComTrack, that can force user to login with the registered user id such as student id or staff number before they can use the computer. These interactive systems also have a capability to trigger the lab owner when there is any issue reported by users. Thus, it is essential for laboratory management to have absolute user login, logout and the issue reported details for each of the computer they are handled. The design and implementation of this application is discussed in this paper.

This paper proposes a speech-control vehicle that can be operated in manufacturing line. The aim of the study is to recognize users voice using speech recognition method for remotely controlling the movement of operating vehicle based on users command. This project can be divided into two parts; development of android application and hardware implementation. Android application is developed to integrate the speech recognition technique in android smart phone with the controller. Hardware implementation involves construction of a prototype vehicle equipped with DC motor, motor driver, Bluetooth module, Arduino microcontroller and power supply unit. A set of data collection for voice command is analyzed to evaluate the accuracy of the speech recognition method. Result suggests the projection of command with clear and strong voice offers higher accuracy in providing a set of viable commands to the operating vehicle.

This paper present the development and implementation of cumulative interaction strength for T-way Test data Generation, called Cumulative-TTG, supporting seeding and constraint inputs. Several testing have been conducted to demonstrate the correctness of algorithm for uniform and non-uniform input variables with two level of interaction strength and also to prove the correctness of the implementation.

This paper presents a computationally accurate technique to design an automatic single phase power factor controller by using microcontroller. The hardware implementation was developed by using Arduino Uno Rev-3 main board which uses the ATmega328 as the microcontroller. The power factor value from the load was measured by using voltage and current transformers, zero crossing detectors, and ATmega328 microcontroller. Zero crossing detectors produced current and voltage signals which will be measured and calculated for the time difference between both signals by ATmega328 microcontroller using appropriate algorithms in order to obtain value of power factor. The ATmega328 is programmed to automatically switch on and off capacitor function in order to control the signal pulse send to relay to connect and disconnect capacitor parallel with the load when energized and de energized if the calculated power factor value is either below 0.9 or above 0.9, respectively. Simulation of the power factor controller model was performed by using Proteus software. Arduino IDE software was used as the compiler for the Arduino Uno. The main objective is to study and develop the technology of automatic single phase power factor controller using Arduino Uno Rev-3 by controlling the power factor of the inductive load near to unity power factor. The results of the power factor value were displayed on the LCD and the power factor is corrected if it falls below 0.9 in order to prevent penalty by the power supplier. The effectiveness of the proposed technique could assist the monitoring unit in order to maintain the power factor at the value set by the utility.

A conventional electrical distribution system are not designs to deal with harmonics because at that time the linear load conquer the consumer demand. Over the years with growing use of nonlinear load such as personal computer can contribute to harmonics current occur on electrical distribution system. With the presence of harmonics current on electrical distribution system leads in degradation of system performance. Therefore necessary actions are needed in order to minimize harmonics effect. The predominant harmonics should be eliminated from electrical distribution system such as 5th and 7thof harmonics current component. The eliminating process is achieved by implementing the current phase shifting technique on new concept of modern electrical distribution system at Makmal Komputer 3, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, UiTM Pulau Pinang.

This paper presents the analysis of electric power flow solution consists of specified power and voltage input conditions to power network and producing the complete voltage information at all the system busses. From this analysis the parameters of current flow and voltages were obtained. Computation of power flow solution is easy if it does not involve with a large power system. But, if a power system is involved with hundred or thousand buses it is complicated to calculate using calculator or iteration method. The Power System Computer Aided Design (PSCAD) software was chosen to solve the problem of power flow solution. There are many software programs such as Matlab, PSCAD and PSpice but PSCAD was chosen to solve power flow solution. It was because PSCAD is the best simulation method and provided quick and economic results with high accuracy. Computer simulation was used extensively in the power flow study because of the large scale nature of the problem and the complexity involved. The main purpose of this project was to solve power flow solution system by using PSCAD, hence developed the power flow model by using PSCAD. This model was used to analyze and observes the project result based on theoretical and simulation method. The result of performance shown for this project was successful depends on simulation using PSCAD software. It was easier to analyze complicated power flow solution by using PSCAD.
