State Survey and Real Estate Cadastre in Serbia Development and Maintenance Strategy

I. R. Aleksić; Oleg Odalovic; Dragan Blagojević

Abstract The paper provides an overview of the strategic objectives for the development and maintenance of the State survey and real estate cadastre in Serbia for the years 2006-2015. We described project design and strategic objectives in details. Special attention was dedicated to the integrated strategy planning process. Effects of the achievement of the strategic objectives such as protection and security of real right, efficient, economical, quality and security of real estate market also were shown.

The establishment of a new gravity reference frame for Serbia

Abstract In this paper, gravimetric work performed in the territory of Serbia is shown chronologically from the end of the nineteenth century until present. The first work, which was based on data from pendulums, is presented briefly. Details are provided on the establishment of the first order gravimetric network from 1952 and a basic gravimetric network created 10 years later. A review of a detailed gravimetric measurement, performed simultaneously with these works for establishing the networks, is also given. Special attention is dedicated to the first measurements using absolute gravimeters that were performed in 2007, but also to establishing a new basic gravimetric network as a basis for a future detailed gravimetric survey. From all of the shown data, it is to be noted that ex-Yugoslavia and then Serbia followed to a great extent modern trends of gravimetric network development. Unfortunately, the network maintenance was inadequate, and a database was not established due to the political and economic changes in the society, which caused suspension of some institutions that were authorised for these types of jobs.

Chronology of the development of geodetic reference networks in Serbia

Oleg Odalovic; Miljana Todorović Drakul; Sanja M. Grekulović; Jovan B. Popovic; Danilo Joksimović

In this paper, the development of geodetic reference networks in Serbia is shown. This historical summary covers the time from the first organised work in 1855 until today. Special attention has been paid to the establishment of the modern network using Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS). Within the networks established by GNSS, two last realised networks are especially distinguished. The first one is a classic spatial reference network SREF (Serbian Reference Frame) established in 2003, and the second one is a permanent stations network – AGROS (Active Geodetic Reference Network of Serbia) realised in 2006.

GEOID DETERMINATION IN SERBIA

Oleg Odalovic

At the end of 2003, a preliminary geoid of Serbia was determined by fitting the gravimetric geoid into undulations determined by GPS and leveling (GPS/dh) techniques. The gravimetric geoid was determined using data from regional gravimetric survey in Serbia (13,326 points) by applying collocation within the remove-restore method, and undulations GPS/dh (in total, 53 undulations) refer to ETRS89 as well as to the height datum defined by the second leveling network of height of high precision (NVT2). Comparing the gravimetric geoid to the GPS/dh undulations shows that there are differences ranging from -20 cm to -90 cm that are relatively regularly distributed in an eastwest direction. Of the total of 53 GPS/dh undulations, 18 were used for fitting the gravimetric geoid and 35 for external checking. This check shows that the remaining discrepancies range from -9 cm to 14 cm, with an average value of 1.3 cm and a standard deviation of 7.7 cm.
