In the paper, the problems of design of the parallel space switching systems is considered. The shortcomings of crossbar switches are analyzed as well as the possibilities of design of parallel switching in multistage systems. There is also a description of the structure of parallel cross switch, which is the basic one in building the ladder circuits. The structure of the switching elements of the parallel space switching systems is described as well. The parallel space switching systems based on such switch cabins will allow to reduce the connection time and losses caused by the congestion of the general control unit.

A novel finite-difference time-domain algorithm for modeling ultrawideband electromagnetic pulse propagation in arbitrary multirelaxed dispersive media is presented. The proposed scheme is based on a general, yet computationally efficient, series representation of the fractional derivative operators associated with the permittivity functions describing the frequency dispersion properties of a given dielectric material. Dedicated uniaxial perfectly matched layer boundary conditions are derived and implemented in combination with the basic time-marching scheme. Moreover, a total field/scattered field formulation is adopted in order to analyze the material response under plane-wave excitation. Compared with alternative numerical methodologies available in the scientific literature, the proposed technique features a significantly enhanced accuracy in the solution of complex electromagnetic propagation problems involving higher order dispersive dielectrics, such as the ones typically encountered in geoscience and bioengineering applications.

A new class of incomplete Bessel polynomials is introduced, and its application to the solution of electromagnetic problems regarding transient wave radiation phenomena in truncated spherical structures is discussed. The general definition and main analytical properties of said special functions are provided. The definition is such that the interrelationships between the incomplete polynomials parallel, as far as it is feasible, those for canonical Bessel polynomials.

In the paper, the general problem of design of measurement while drilling telemetry systems with the communication radio channel in a drilling pipe is considered. Urgency of the use of microwave video pulse radio signals for data transfer is evaluated. Estimation of the signal attenuation in the drilling pipe filled with the conductivity media is carried out. The general structure of system is considered and its modeling in the Matlab Simulink software is carried out. Qualitative comparison of results with experimental data is investigated.

In this paper, a new suboptimal modification for the log-MAP turbo decoding algorithm is proposed. This method (PL-log-MAP) based on the piecewise linear approximation of the the compensation term (correction function) in the Jacobian logarithm used by the MAP (BCJR) decoder. Using the proposed approximation, the complex functions ln(.) and exp(.) in the log-MAP algorithm can be estimated with high accuracy and lower computational complexity. The efficacy of the proposed approximation is investigated and demonstrated by applying it to digital communication system. The performance of the PL-log-MAP algorithm is shown to have the closest performance to the original log-MAP solution.

Device of noise-concealing information coding from the measurement converter and message decoding was developed. The main purpose of the device is transfer information by inhomogeneous communication channels as borehole pipes. Coding is carried out with additional non-information bytes. The algorithm of operation of the decoder is considered. Possibility of receiving of code and improving of the single error by simple means is shown.

The investigation purpose is studying by ground penetrating radar (GPR) methods of the fortification features of Hakassko-Minusinsk Region at the Bronze Age. The estimation of GPR efficiency at monitoring researches, time and expenses on engineeringarcheological works were carried out. Object of researches is the ancient fortress on Stone Island of Yenisei River. In 2007 GPR researches of total amount 1500 meters of GPR tracking structures has been carried out by Radar R&D. As a result of researches, contours of fortifications battlement are restored. Contours of the stone bases under dwellings are found out and restored. In the studying, GPR sounding is practically tested with the purpose of detection and construction of contours of the fortification rests and other objects. The software for efficiency increase of archeological researches and reduction of expenses was developed. By results of experimental and practical works the GPR method is proved and practically approved for the undersurface environment monitoring with the purpose of revealing of the zones interesting from the archeology point of view.
