V and A Structures of

Yasunari Akatsu; Osamu Terazawa

We calculate the energy distributions of leptons in semileptonic decay of t quarks in the process , by taking into account the polarizations and spin–spin correlations of t and quarks with QCD corrections to the and vertices up to the order αs. The corrections are large to the t quark production cross-section but do not alter the energy distributions of final leptons of the parton model practically. The distributions will provide useful information about the V and A structures of t quark.

We calculate the energy distributions of decay products in semileptonic decay of t quarks, by taking into account the polarizations and spin-spin correlations of the t quarks. The distributions will provide useful information about the V and A structures of t quarks.

Vertex and Top Quark Polarization: QCD Corrections

Seiji Matsumoto; Kenji Tominaga; Osamu Terazawa; Minoru Biyajima

We calculate in the free quark model energy distributions of final lepton and quark pairs from c and b quark semileptonic decays in e−e+ colliders. Polarizations and spin-spin correlations of heavy quark pair are discussed, which will test the vector and axial vector couplings of the Weinberg-Salam model especially near the Z peak.

V AND A STRUCTURES OF THE

Akira Kanazawa; Tetsuro Sakuma; Osamu Terazawa

The pionic decays of hyperons are analysed under the dynamical self-consistency requirement and the assumption that the nonleptonic decay processes are originated in a driving weak interactions of the current-current type. The hadron currents are assumed to be transformed like an octet component of SU (3). It is shown that the octet enhancement of decay amplitudes can be attributed to the strong interactions. In particular, the qualitatively satisfactory numerical results can be obtained in a model where the s-wave amplitude is enhanced by two levels while the p-wave is by a single level.
