In the present study, we aimed at estimating the production of medical Ac-225 radionuclide via proton accelerator in the energy range Eproton=1000 →1MeV under certain conditions, on thorium target material instead of uranium due to the low abundant of uranium in nature. Hence, to produce the medical Ac-225, cross-section, separation energy was calculated by taking into account the proton induced reaction processes that were simulated to estimate activity and, yield of the product up to 1000MeV. Moreover, the calculated integral yields of reactions were presented. For achieving the aim, we have put forward the X-PMSP program to derive mass stopping power from a new perspective.

In this paper, we intend to extend the nuclear data of 244Cm, 241Am, 238Pu, 210Po, 147Pm, 137Cs, 90Sr and 63Ni nuclei used in nuclear battery technology, because, these nuclei are quite important for space investigations in radioisotope thermoelectric generator (RTG) and for microelectronic technologies in betavoltaic batteries. Therefore, the nuclear structure properties of nuclei such as separation energies, neutron skin thicknesses, proton, charge and neutron density distributions as a function of radius, the root mean square (rms) proton, charge and neutron radii, binding energies per particle, have been investigated by Hartree–Fock with eight different Skyrme forces. The obtained results have been compared with the experimental data in literature and relativistic mean field theory (RMFT) results.

In this paper, we investigated excitation functions of (n, 2n) reactions on the target nuclei in the mass region (144≤A≤160) for some samarium, europium and gadolinium isotopes. Studies were performed for incident neutron energies between 1 MeV and 20 MeV. We used the ALICE/ASH and TALYS 1.4 codes to investigate the pre-equilibrium effects and the ALICE/ASH were used for the equilibrium effects. The effects of collision probabilities on pre-equilibrium excitation functions were also investigated.

Binding energies and their differences are investigated to evaluate the two-neutron separation energies (S2n), the two-proton separation energies (S2p) and the average proton–neutron interaction strengths (δVpn) of neutron-rich Sr, Zr and Mo isotopes in the mass region A = 86–110, including even–even nuclei. Calculations were performed using the Hartree–Fock–Bogoliubov (HFB) method with different Skyrme force parametrizations. The obtained results are discussed and compared with the results of experimental and relativistic mean-field theory (RMFT).

In this study, we have calculated the basic nuclear properties such as binding energies, root mean square (rms) charge radii, and neutron and proton densities of the even–even natural 92–100Mo isotopes. Investigations were performed using the Hartree–Fock–Bogoliubov (HFB) method with different Skyrme-like forces. Separation energies, which have an important role in nuclear structure, of neutron, proton, deuteron, triton, helium-3 and alpha were also investigated with TALYS 1.4 code. The calculated results were discussed and compared with experimental results.
