Abstract The structures of saponaceolides B, C and D, new C-30 terpenoids from Tricholoma saponaceum, have been established, including their absolute configuration. High cytotoxic activity was detected for saponaceolides B and C.

Abstract A new cytotoxic lanostane triterpene, named 3-β-acetyl-2-α(3′-hydroxy-3′-methyl)glutarylcrustulinol, was isolated from Hebeloma crustuliniforme and H. sinapizans . The structure has been elucidated by chemical correlations and spectroscopic evidences.
Tetrahedron Letters | 1995

Abstract Trichoaurantianolide A ( 1 ), a new diterpene lactone possessing a novel carbon skeleton, was isolated from an EtOAc extract of the fruiting bodies of Tricholoma aurantium and its structure established by NMR studies.

Abstract Tricholomenyns C, D, and E, isolated from the fruiting bodies of Tricholoma acerbum and other species of the genus Tricholoma, are the first naturally occurring dimeric dienyne geranyl cyclohexenones.

Abstract Investigation of Lactarius scrobiculatus gave two new lactarane lactones, an 8-norlactarane sesquiterpene, which is the first representative of such a class of compounds, and 4- epi -furandiol. A possible biosynthetic mechanism for the formation of these sesquiterpenes is proposed.

Abstract Ethanolic extracts of Lactarius vellereus gave, in addition to known sesquiterpenes, one new highly oxygenated marasmane lactone and two new 13-normarasmane sesquiterpenes, which are the first representatives of such a class of compounds. Molecular configurations and conformations have been established by spectroscopic methods.

Abstract Some sesquiterpene furans with lactarane and seco-lactarane skeletons which previously have isolated from many Lactarius and Russula species, were chemically derived from stearyl belutinal via a tansformation similar to the biosynthetic pathway.

Abstract The absolute configuration of furosardonin A and secolactarane sesquiterpenes has been established by chemical correlations. Secolactarane lactones and furans have been converted to lactaranes by the Me2AlCl catalyzed ene reaction.

A mixture of oleic, linoleic and a-linolenic esters (1b-d, 2b-d) of ergosterol (1a) and episterol (2a) was isolated from the fruiting bodies of Mycena chlorinella. Ergosterol and its endoperoxide (3) were also found as free sterols. In addition, relatively large amounts of the nucleoside adenosine (4) were isolated
