From electron-positron collision data collected with the CLEO detector operating at Cornell Electron Storage Ring near sqrt[s]=10.6 GeV, improved measurements of the branching fractions for tau decays into three explicitly identified hadrons and a neutrino are presented as B(tau(-)-->pi(-)pi(+)pi(-)nu(tau))=(9.13+/-0.05+/-0.46)%, B(tau(-)-->K-pi(+)pi(-)nu(tau))=(3.84+/-0.14+/-0.38) x 10(-3), B(tau(-)-->K-K+pi(-)nu(tau))=(1.55+/-0.06+/-0.09) x 10(-3), and B(tau(-)-->K-K+K-nu(tau))<3.7 x 10(-5) at 90% C.L., where the uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively.

We present new precision measurements of the {Psi}(2S) total and partial widths from excitation curves obtained in antiproton-proton annihilations by Fermilab experiment E835 at the Antiproton Accumulator in the year 2000. A new technique of complementary scans was developed to study narrow resonances with stochastically cooled antiproton beams. It relies on precise revolution-frequency and orbit-length measurements, while making the analysis of the excitation curve almost independent of machine lattice parameters. For the {Psi}(2S) meson, by studying the processes {bar p}p {yields} e{sup +}e{sup -} and {bar p}p {yields} J/{Psi} + X {yields} e{sup +}e{sup -} + X, we measure the width {Gamma} = 290 {+-} 25(sta) {+-} 4(sys) keV and the combination of partial widths {Gamma}{sub e{sup +}e{sup -}}{Gamma}{sub {bar p}p}/{Gamma} = 579 {+-} 38(sta) {+-} 36(sys) meV, which represent the most precise measurements to date.

The authors have studied the {sup 3}P{sub J} ({chi}{sub e}) states of charmonium in formation by antiproton-proton annihilations in experiment E835 at the Fermilab Antiproton Source. The authors report new measurements of the mass, width, and B({chi}{sub cJ} {yields} {bar p}p) x {Lambda}({chi}{sub eJ} {yields} J/{psi} + anything) for the {chi}{sub c1} and {chi}{sub c2} by means of the inclusive reaction {bar p}p {yields} {chi}{sub cJ} {yields} J/{psi} + anything {yields} (e{sup +}e{sup -}) + anything. Using the subsample of events where {chi}{sub cJ} {yields} {gamma} + J/{psi} {yields} {gamma} + (e{sup +}e{sup -}) is fully reconstructed, we derive B({chi}{sub cJ} {yields} {bar p}p) x {Lambda}({chi}{sub cJ} {yields} J/{psi} + {gamma}). They summarize the results of the E760 (updated) and E835 measurements of mass, width and B({chi}{sub cJ} {yields} {bar p}p){Lambda}({chi}{sub cJ} {yields} J/{psi} + {gamma}) (J = 0,1,2) and discuss the significance of these measurements.

We have searched for the baryon-containing radiative penguin decays B^- -> \Lambda p-bar \gamma and B^- -> \Sigma^0 p-bar \gamma, using a sample of 9.7 million BBbar events collected at the \Upsilon(4S) with the CLEO detector. We find no evidence for either, and set 90% confidence level upper limits for photons with B rest frame energy greater than 2.0 GeV of [Br(B^- -> \Lambda p-bar \gamma) + 0.3 Br(B^- -> \Sigma^0 p-bar \gamma)] \Sigma^0 p-bar \gamma) + 0.4 Br(B^- -> \Lambda p-bar \gamma)] < 6.4 x 10^-6. From the latter, we estimate (for photons with B rest frame energy greater than 2.0 GeV) Br(B -> X_s \gamma, X_s containing baryons) s \gamma that are less than half the combined statistical and systematic errors quoted on these quantities.

Data from the Fermilab E835 experiment have been used to study the reaction pp{yields}{eta}{eta}{pi}{sup 0} at 5.2 GeV/c. A sample of 22 million six photon events has been analyzed to construct the Dalitz plot containing {approx}80k {eta}{eta}{pi}{sup 0} events. A partial wave analysis of the data has been done. Six f{sub J}-states decaying into {eta}{eta} and five a{sub J}-states decaying into {eta}{pi}{sup 0} are identified in the mass region {approx}1.3 and 2.4 GeV, and their masses, widths, and spins are determined by maximum likelihood analysis of the data. Two f{sub 0} states are identified with the popular candidates for the lightest scalar glueball, f{sub 0}(1500) and f{sub 0}(1710)

We report on a search for a CP-violating asymmetry in the charmless hadronic decay B -> K*(892)+- pi-+, using 9.12 fb^-1 of integrated luminosity produced at \sqrt{s}=10.58 GeV and collected with the CLEO detector. We find A_{CP}(B -> K*(892)+- pi-+) = 0.26+0.33-0.34(stat.)+0.10-0.08(syst.), giving an allowed interval of [-0.31,0.78] at the 90% confidence level.

We report on a search for the X(3872) state using 15.1 fb−1 of e+e−. annihilation data taken with the CLEO III detector in the s = 9.46–11.30 GeV region. Separate searches for the production of X(3872) in untagged γγ fusion and e+e− annihilation following initial state radiation (ISR) are made by taking advantage of the unique correlation of J/ψ → l+l− in X(3872) decay into π+π−J/ψ. No signals are observed in either case, and 90% confidence upper limits are established as (2J + 1)Γγγ(X(3872))β(X → π+π−J/ψ) < 12.9 eV and Γee(X(3872))β(X → π+π−J/ψ) < 8.3eV.

Using data collected on the Upsilon(4S) resonance and the nearby continuum by the CLEO detector at the Cornell Electron Storage Ring, we have searched for the semileptonic decay of B mesons to electron-antiproton inclusive final states. We obtain an upper limit of B(B-> pbar e nuebar X) u decay, we find an upper limit of B(B^- -> p pbar e nuebar)< 5.2e-3. All upper limits are measured at the 90% confidence level.
