The virtual instrument is the main content of instrument technology nowadays. This article details the implementation process of the virtual oscilloscope. It is designed by LabVIEW graphical programming language. The virtual oscilloscope can achieve waveform display, channel selection, data collection, data reading, writing and storage, spectrum analysis, printing and waveform parameters measurement. The vehicle sideslip angle is one of the most important variables to evaluate vehicle stability during dynamic maneuvers. The vehicle dynamic represented by the single track vehicle model with linear tire is firstly introduced, a novel method of virtual sensor based on extended Kalman filter for the estimation of vehicle sideslip angle is proposed. Results of simulation using CarSim and co-simulation between CarSim and Simulink show an accurate and low-cost estimation of vehicle sideslip angle is achieved and virtual sensor estimation method is feasible in measurement of vehicle state.

In order to detect traffic sign effectively and quickly, firstly, this paper firstly discriminates the maximum and minimum values of the color-components R, G and B, and then ignores pixels having little color similarity with traffic sign. Secondly, it regards the points of RGB space as color eigenvector and calculates the cosine value of included angle of vectors to discriminate color similarity. Thirdly, the image is divided into core image, undetermined area and background area by setting two thresholds, and then two corresponding templates and modes are used to scan the image, realizing growth of core image by area mergence. Finally, the operator Roberts is applied to detect fringe of the traffic sign. The experimental result shows that the method has better result of detection both in sunny and in rainy day. The process of detecting avoids huge amount of calculation for color space conversion, and improves the speed of calculation, which will lay the foundation for recognition of traffic sign.

Shunt capacitance compensator is the important equipment of power traction system in electrified railway. The series-wound reactor on the compensator is lack of necessary protection against inter-turn fault. The voltage ratio of the capacitor and reactor will change when the fault occurs. With consideration of characteristics of power traction system in electrified railway, this paper proposes a new shunt compensation protection against reactor inter-turn fault based on the voltage ratio. The simulation on ATP and calculation on MATLAB show that the protection against inter-turn fault of reactor, based on voltage ratio, can make correct judgment to this kind of fault quickly. This kind of protection has been applied to a substation in Beijing-Qinhuangdao railway and has run well until now.

Based on the three joint of robotic arm, to track an arbitrary continued path, a moving control algorithm based on Particle Swarm Optimization was studied in the visual servo system of three-joint robot arm in the paper. The optimization is based on the minimum error of distance between the end point of robot arm and the position of input path. In this case, the adaptability and intelligent of the robot would be improved with complicated working environment and task. The simulation experiment shows that the performance of system to track a continuous trajectory is Optimized, and has strong robustness.

Based on the analysis of Maxwell color triangle, a segmentation algorithm for traffic sign is presented. An characteristic segmentation formula is proposed for the red, yellow and blue traffic signs, and the criteria is presented to confirm the range of threshold group through a number of experiments. Accordingly, the traffic sign is segmented by region growth with maximum and minimum threshold group. Experimentals resules show that the segmentation algorithm has capacities of good real-time and robustness, paving a foundation for improving the precise recognition of traffic signs.
