The present research work aims at finding out key drivers that influence store choice. It also aims to study their influence on store loyalty. On analysis it was found that the drivers responsible for store selection are not equally responsible for the selection of store format, i.e., old or new. Besides it is concluded that an average consumer of urban Uttarakhand is not loyal to any type of store format. The results of the present article will give the retailers enough idea about the various dimensions toward which they should be more attentive as the phenomenon of organized retailing is gaining momentum in India.

Synopsis The case illustrates the social entrepreneurial journey of Ramdev who developed Patanjali Yogpeeth as a successful enterprise that provides low-cost physical and mental treatment through the ancient science of yoga. The case provides a perspective on the reasons for the success of Patanjali as a social brand in such a small time scale and also addresses the controversies associated with it. Research methodology Using secondary sources, the study describes the philosophy, infrastructure, innovations, marketing and promotional practices of the organization. It also seeks answers to the challenges faced by the social entrepreneur to fulfill his social mission. Relevant courses and levels The case is best suited for courses on entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship and marketing of non-profit organization in both MBA and executive programs. Students who have an interest in starting their own venture or social enterprise will find it more relevant and interesting.

With the increase in quality consciousness and expectations of the customers around the world, micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in India are also trying to keep up with the customers by improving the quality of their products. This paper is an assessment of quality readiness and growth of MSMEs of India. The focus of the study is to identify the quality readiness of these MSMEs on the scale of leadership, planning, infrastructure, people, resources and process management, customer and people satisfaction and to study the challenges associated with the quality of products and services. The study is conducted on export oriented leather, plastics and chemical industries of Uttar Pradesh, India. It also examines possible connections between enablers of quality deployment and quality readiness of MSMEs. Statistical analysis reveal, if there are any significant differences in the use and implementation of quality-related practices, across the low, moderate and high growth MSMEs. The outcomes may help other MSMEs on the pathway of quality improvement.
