Adolescentes e jovens em situação de risco psicossocial: redes de apoio social e fatores pessoais de proteção

Adolescence and youth at risk situation: social network and personal protective factors. This study aimed to investigate social and personal factors that can serve as protection to adolescents and youths in situation of social and personal risk. The participants were 852 adolescents and youths of public schools of the Federal District, aged 13 to 27 years, who answered a questionnaire with 109 items about risk and protection in their development. The results focused on the protection networks (family, school, friends) and the personal factors (self-esteem, religiosity-spirituality). The adolescents and youths presented processes of global resilience (social, emotional and academic), evidencing the trust in themselves and in the composed network by school, family and friends. The data analyses show the importance of understanding adolescence and youth as a contextual process in Brazil and the necessity of youth’s public polices to exercise and to internalize positive and protective experiences.

A construção de uma metodologia observacional para o estudo de crianças em situação de rua: criando um manual de codificação de atividades cotidianas

Este estudo teve por objetivo descrever uma metodologia criada para a observacao de criancas em situacao de rua em seu ambiente natural. Questoes sobre o desenvolvimento dessas criancas, sobre a utilizacao e significado do espaco da rua e sobre os aspectos metodologicos foram relevantes para a realizacao deste tipo de estudo. Os resultados encontram-se condensados em um manual criado especialmente para a codificacao das atividades cotidianas apresentadas pelas criancas em situacao de rua. A discussao enfatiza a importância da realizacao de estudos observacionais exploratorios e descritivos para avaliar o processo de criacao de metodologias especificas para entender e analisar o desenvolvimento humano em situacoes de risco. A aplicabilidade deste metodo e discutida como conhecimento produzido pela Psicologia do Desenvolvimento.

Atividades Cotidianas de Crianças em Situação de Rua

A method and system for providing a magnetic memory are disclosed. The method and system include providing a plurality of magnetic memory cells and at least one programmable current source. Each of the plurality of magnetic memory cells includes a first magnetic element. The programmable current source(s) are for programming a portion of the plurality of magnetic memory cells. Each of the programmable current source(s) includes a controller and a current source coupled to the controller. The controller is for determining a current provided by the current source and includes at least a second magnetic element. The second magnetic element(s) are substantially the same as the first magnetic element. The controller determines the current provided by the current source based on the at least the second magnetic element.

Fatores de risco na adolescência: discutindo dados do DF

This study had as objectives to investigate and to discuss the risk situations for adolescents from the Distrito Federal, Brazil, based on the Ecological Theory Approach. 852 questionnaires were applied in adolescents from the public schools of the DF, localized in some regions previously identificated as in risk situation. The data show that the violence, the suicide attempt, the presence of drugs and the sexuality are indicators of risk. Nevertheless, the same data show that these adolescents are capable of developing protective strategies to the promotion of their health such as condom use in their sexual relationships, family daily contact and support expectation from the neighborhood. On observe that hese data can be specific from the DF but it is necessary to create and to apply Public Politcs related to the domestic violence prevention and to the economical support to this young people.
