Abstract It is shown by an example that spontaneous symmetry breaking can persist at arbitrary high temperatures even when renormalization group effects are taken into account in an asymptotically free field theory.

Abstract The branching ratio Γ( K + → π + + axion ) Γ( K + → all ) is predicted to be of the order of 10 −5 . Such a relatively high value already violates an experimental upper bound deduced by several authors. Some discussion of the formalism we use is given and a possible way out is mentioned.

Abstract The effect of a net conserved charge density is considered in supersymmetric relativistic field theories. If the charge is supersymmetric and if it distributes itself homogeneously, there appear both goldstino and Goldstone modes, associated with the spontaneously broken supersymmetry algebra.
