Jean Pedersen is a member of the Mathematics Department at the University of Santa Clara. For several years she has been involved in many MAA activities. She has served in the WAM program, the Visiting Lectureship Program, and on the CTUM committee. She is currently an associate editor of Mathematics Magazine and the Governor of the Northern California Section of the MAA.
