Determinantes del rendimiento sostenible de las estaciones de esquí

The economic sustainability of companies located in the mountain resorts has been little research in comparison with the relevant papers on the sustainability of tourist destinations. But the theoretical framework of sustainability in business is not fully formed. By merely economic sustainability, this study aims to validate some assumptions to better identify the characteristics of firms that can be considered sustainable. This shows that large companies with a relatively large debt funding opportunities and manage immunized against climate risk and provide for sustainable economic characteristics. These observations confirm the one hand work on the feasibility of large stations, and on the other hand, the specific nature of the smaller stations, which operate with a logic different from that usually adopted in the performance evaluations of financial.
